Or they were just all morons who assumed a car traveling at a high rate of speed and obviously weaving and being reckless would get out of their way as it approached. Sure people can be hurt biking against traffic, but I just can't see how with such large crowds and police presence, a guy can wonder onto a race course without anyone trying to stop him (even one set on a public road) and take out a bunch of bikers who are pedaling TOWARD him. How can all of those bikers and a police officer not see a car travelling towards them? What were they discussing there options of avoiding the car? It's just stupid, also I'm suprised only one person was killed. Also, well done to the guy in green for surviving, looks like a clean win for him now.
