I hope that thing cracks down the middle like in Thundar The Barbarian. The effects on earth would be catastrophic. But then again the Nuclear Winter and the other effects of a 5 nuke strike would be that anyway.....regardless of your location. Ever hear of Jetstreams? Not to mention the world economy is something of a tedious thing everyone is involved in. Or Mars! That would prevent colonization for quite sometime I would think.
