kingofnexus Posted June 2, 2008 Share Posted June 2, 2008 PS3 games aren't region coded, they could be to the extent that SD would be ntsc/pal only, which would require you to have a TV that can recieve the ntsc signal (most do), HD is unaffected. As for online play, almost all online ps3 games use the region entered for your psn account to assign whether you play against europeans or americans etc. Creating a psn with a region in a different country would enable you to play with people in that region. To sum up, it might be worth a quick check on google, but 99% of the time an american ps3 game will function just as a UK would on your ps3. Are you sure about this? Granted, my PS3 is very much unused and I've only been online with it on a couple occasions (I just find XBL so much better, sue me) - but I believe I've played against players from other regions than my own even on PSN?!
