Okay, I see a lot of people bring up this argument. My advice, if your going to blame anyone, at least blame Microsoft. I see people saying "360 Owners screwed us PS3 ownerz wit teh small disk spacez!!". It is not the 360 owners fault, for Microsoft created the console. The gamers are just being gamers. emigrating Posted June 2, 2008 Share Posted June 2, 2008 Well my friends have been saying us PS3 gamers have had to suffer with GTA IV. They say the PS3's disk (blu-ray) cold hold alot mor memory etc so we could have had much for in the game, but because of the 360 having smaller disk space, they couldn't. Any advance on this? Next time, try to search the forums before posting. There has been numerous discussions on this topic already, and in the end they all come to the conclusion the statement "GTA IV was held back due to lack of space on the 360 DVD" is bullcrap. The Xbox 360 DVD has around 1.5 - 2 Gigabytes of "free" space. That's something in the region of 20% unused space. The only people to blame are the devs. Hmm so why would they say that. I mean, the 360 gamers were even saying it / agreeing. There was no technical limitation that caused GTAIV to be the size it is. Period. Wayninja is right. A while ago I ASSUMED the same thing and was ready to FIGHT for it. After MUCH research on this forum and other places, I found out I was wrong. The game doesn't even come close to taking up the full DVD. The other thread about this very same thing has a great link in it to another thread where some people who actually know what they are talking about are giving FACTUAL arguments.
