This tool is very helpful for those modders who get annoyed with extract, edit and add file back to img, like me xD, its very irritating thing, everytime same steps and chances of mistake. That problem can be kicked off by just double click on any file in img and file will open in selected tool, when the tool will close after edit then that file will update automatically.

Tools can be use* :

Great Idea! I prefer small and easy programs like IMG editor but direct editing is much better again icon14.gif

Nice ! And it's not too late at all.

It is that kind of tool we needed five years ago, yea, now let's continue with IMG editors like this one for the coming tools, and forget about the sh*tty extract > modify > import > rebuild process.

Thanks for the tool, really.

Cool! icon14.gif Though you weren't the first to think of this... There is a Vice City tool that I use called "DIR Manager", it does the same thing, editting IMG files without the rebuilding process. Very convenient tool you have there though, great job.

Can someone give me a direct link to the file? GTAGarage doesn't work for both of my computers using three different browsers and two different internet connections.

Not on much these days, but wanted to give a shout out for this; delightfully simple and easy to use. Many thanks! smile.gif

Looks great xmen! icon14.gif

My gta3.img archive contains: 16400 files

Size on disk: 1,288,760 KB

Not sure if I'm exceeding game or archive limit(s) -OR- if the integrity of my archive is screwed because I'm having a few problems that are driving me batty. Sure hope this tool can shed some light &/or resolve my issues. nervous.gif

Thanks,

Hey xmen,

Tried using but no luck. When I click on the exe nothing happens (that I can detect smile.gif ).

I'm running XP Pro x64 bit and the x86 .netframework 2.0 won't install, it claims it non-compatible

with 64 bit, yes I do have the x64 .net 2 installed but still no go. I'm assuming it's the 64-bit that's

the problem.

If so can you make it more compatible?
