But they could look better if they dont use that Box Low Poly model Tommy has in VC. So, I started working on a High-Poly version of Tommy. What is a High Poly version? The same model but with more detail, you can put detail in a texture, but you can put more detail in the model. Original idea by Claude GTA3 here. Banned now, I don't know why. The original Polygon Count of Tommy Cutscene Model is: 2.262 Polygons Features:TurboSmoothed ShirtTurboSmoothed TrousersTurboSmoothed HeadComplety New ArmsNew Hands with 5 FingersA 3D Watch, not just a TextureA 3D gold chain like SA onesWIP Images: BEFORE AFTER The model has some bugs, I will fix them all. Thats what I did last week before formatting, thats why I didn't have time to fix the bugs. I don't have a copy of Vice City installed. My CD is broken, so I will have to wait untill I get a copy to test it. Anyway I have some people who can do it for me. If you have any suggestion feel free to write it down. Anyone doing a HD Texture please send me your versions so i can test them with my model. I will put a link of all the HD Tommy's Texture i know that you can use with my mod. TripleAs Posted June 1, 2008 Share Posted June 1, 2008 (edited) No offense, but you have absolutely no f*ckin' idea what you're doing with turbosmooth, i'd do that by hand... otherwise you get what you can see in the pics above my post, that is; a model full of holes. I'd really love to see something like this made by an experienced modeler like GRIM!... that'd look nice... Hands look detached from the forearms, you may wanna weld some vertexs. and... instead of turbosmoothing everything up, ears for example, they could use a better/detailed model instead Oh, and, btw, SA chains models suck, they're just flat faces with textures \w alphas on them, don't do that, but go instead for an actual 3d chain... And i turbosmothed to see results, i may make a new shirt from scratch as well as the trousers as i did with the hands/arms. jojo_47: Try not to quote the full post just to post that.
