It is pretty annoying to be honest, with the car magically appearing infront of you and what not, but I guess some things never change. I've eased up on doing so though, so I am good. sebthelodgemn Posted May 27, 2008 Share Posted May 27, 2008 the same ting happens if you look at uer car at the top The Rage engine was designed in a way that the game takes every opportunity possible where the player is not looking in a certain direction to populate the game with AI in that place, so that way it can spend time filling the road up where you're paying most attention and not waste memory doing the same in places you're not. This is where traffic seems moving at a slow pace until you stand too close to it!... That's where they tend to spawn at high rates of speed and if they hit you, you're a goner!!! I typically stop after a police chase and assess my surroundings, I wound up on that road a few times! Watch out over there! Also collecting bills that drop from burning peds during massive explosions... typically self-caused. The fire resulting from explosions is so much more like real fire, you don't know if where you're walking is safe enough! Or even debris causes additional fires and explosions.
