Deema
I just completed the mission "Waste Not Want Knots" and thought that McReary's family would be perfect if the next GTA (or DLC) will be set in the past. Liked how Packie said "Our family was bigger then all this mob families put together". Wouldn't it be cool to be a part of their family? Post your thoughts. Tony Mozzarelli 80
Yeah i like that idea too, could definitely see the family featuring heavily. If it was set in the past it would be funny if you got to see first hand just what a sneaky f*ck Francis is
Fuzzknuckles
Personally, I found them to be quite dull and uninspired. They were barely Irish. If they were more detailed and less boring, they could be quite a good basis for a new story. Apart from the fact that it would have to be like Gangs of New York, which sucked super bigtime. Signatures are dumb anyway.

MortifiedPenguin09
Breaking Gerry out of prison would make my month You are onto something...... I remeber in the UK adverts for GTA IV there was a scene with Niko in a prison yard with prisoners running around in orange jumpsuits.
Tatertotts
Breaking Gerry out of prison would make my month Yep, this is what I thought as soon as I had to visit him in prison -- prison break! But then it didn't happen, and that storyline wasn't resolved. It could very well be in dlc.
Tony Mozzarelli 80
And the prison has a large layout that was never used in singleplayer
Deema
And the prison has a large layout that was never used in singleplayer WTF are you talking about? There IS a map called "Prison Yard" where you can make an epic battle on baseball bats.

Tony Mozzarelli 80
you may be right, or perhaps they tend to use it in DLC And where are all the inmates that you see in the advert?
Erados
To whoever said they didn't really seem Irish - they mention the culture quite often, and they're stereotyped as drunken Irish folks - even Kate - but they aren't first or second or probably even third-generation immigrants. Packie has never been to Ireland - or at least that's the assumption you make during a few cutscenes when he talks about his brothers.
