what should I enable (or disable) to let the game run smoother? it's kind of laggy now.

I turned draw distance at the minimum, what could I do more?

As for now, turn off anti-aliasing and tone down your display settings.

We will need to know your Processer and video card too. They are important too.

 

To find them....

 

1) Go to start > run

2) Type dxdiag

3) On the system tab, post what it says for Processor

4) Then click the display tab, and post what it says for Name, and Approx total memory

512 MB RAM is marginally sufficient, so you should be able to run SA at the lowest possible settings. Also, if you have v1, try the Frame Limiter Patch. It helped me get rid of the little lag that I had.

 

And as gtamodder has suggested, post info about your processor and video card.
