Until I did a mission help and found that it was extremly useful on the Stowaway.2) The Silenced Pistol isn't much good as the Cops seem to hear it rather well and come-a runnin'.(I've used them in real life and the 'movie' noise assigned to it isn't at all real.) 3) The Sawed-Off shotgun is 'cute' but gets CJ killed in any gang war. 4) I Still find the Teargas Grenade useless. Although I am developing a skill with the Fragment Grenades for clearing out Container Ships and Warehouses. 5) The Katana is too clumsy; getting the Knife early saves ammo when it's in short supply. So usually I rely on the M4, Desert Eagle, and Molotov Cocktails, and Knife from the start of the game. (You just have to know where they are, Free in Los Santos.) {Don't Create New Topics if an old one will do... Don't Bump Topics if you have Nothing substantial to add.} Sorry this is going to be off topic but I had to ask. What type of Silenced Pistol did you shoot. And the reload is pretty quick. The only thing bad I see with it is enemies using it. Oh my god you'd die in seconds. My favourite weapon is easily the M4/M16. High magazine capacity, quick reload, amazing range, great damage, sniper-like accuracy. Another thing is the HS rocket launcher. Whats wrong with it? I know it has like, 1 spawn point in the game and is barely used in any mission, but it's awesome. I really don't see that as a reason for the M4, one of the best weapons in the entire world to be in the worst weapons list for SA. And no gangs carry it, just CJ does aswell as the army. After some thinking, here's my list. Sawn-off: Pointless and slow. Only good for taking out a low number of enemies. Sniper rifle: Very innacurate and slow, they shouldn't have cut the beta semi-auto sniper. 9mm: Horrible. Does like, no damage. The freaking dildo does more damage. AK-47: Expensive and a downgraded version of the M4. I'd rather pay a few extra thousand for the M4. Flamethrower: Should've been exclusive to that one mission. It's pretty useless and boring. If there was some kind of ragdoll system then no. Poolcue- Cool and everything, plus has long range. But it's easily one of the weakest melee weapons. Rifle - pointless, slow Sawnoff Shotty- slow, takes too long to reload. Molotov Cocktail - very low damage radius, and you're more likely to put yourself on fire than the enemy. Metzger Posted October 10, 2011 Share Posted October 10, 2011 The only weapon that has disappointed me is Brass Knuckles, because they are much weaker then the ones in GTA Vice City. In Vice City when you punched someone with these, then a ped was almost always knocked over. In San Andreas however, there is no such thing. Mysterious? Posted October 11, 2011 Share Posted October 11, 2011 Brass knuckles are pretty useless. I prefer either the nightstick (the baseball bat you can run with ) or the knife. The katana is also a good choice. The tec9 seems a little useless to me. Why buy the tec9, since you can get the better micro-smg for free? Standard shotgun - I don't like it because it shoots too slowly (In very unlucky cases the enemy will be given a second to recover - with the combat shotgun, not) Also, In a large enemy situation it is even harder to shoot, most of the time leading to a face full of bullets. Grenades as well, very useful for gang wars. Tear gas seems pretty useless tho. Also brass knuckles suck because you can't get rid of them and CJ just doesn't look ok walking everywhere with it. Sawn of shotgun is very annoying for having very long reload time (even more when double wielded) and blasting all the bullets in a blink. TBH I prefer normal shotgun on hitman than SPAS cause it doesn't have to be reloaded each 7 shots and if you're good at aiming it can make nice damage. Flamethrower is pretty useless other than for having fun with. Melee weapons selection is ok I guess, Vice City had a lot more redundant like screwdriver or meat clever. Silence 9mm Standard Shotgun The cuntrifle (but both rifles are pretty useless however ) Ak 47 Flamethrower I would say tear gas if it wasnt for the insta kill glitch so i guess satchel charges maybe?)
