My worst weapon list:

 

1. Silencer.

2. Sawn-off shotgun.

3. SMG.

4. Grenades.

5. Rocket launcher (with auto-aim).

 

I hate most of those weapons because of how lousy they are in gang-wars, I just took over 12 hoods and they were my last resort to take them over.

I like the silenced pistol early on in the game. It's very useful in a few missions like Madd Dogg's Rhymes of course, but also in some like Dam and Blast.

 

But I wouldn't try and use it for any serious fighting or against more than one opponent like in a gang war. That's what the big guns are for.

All of the equipment is useless as a weapon (Night vision goggles, Thermal goggles and the Parachute)

The camera isn't much good either - unless you can blind them with the flash (like in Hitchcock's Rear Window)

But in the same slot as the camera, the Fire extinguisher & the Spray can can both be used as weapons. They're not great but they can disable your opponent and can even kill them.

Brass Knuckles are THE WORST, along with the regular rifle, grenades, and tear gas (even though it can be fun).

1. Knife

2. Silenced Pistol

3. Sniper Rifle

Best:

Baseball bat (just looks plain old gangsta!)

Knife (the stealth kill animation is good)

9mm (simple gun, good for just running and gunning drug dealers)

Mac 10 (can run easily with it and fairly dealy, good in drive-bys too)

AK-47 (quick, long distance killer)

Molotovs (a well-placed lob of one of these can kill a whole bunch of enemies)

 

Worst:

Brass Knuckles (look stupid)

Chainsaw (slows you down)

Flamethrower (kinda useless)

 

Also, I hate it when I achieve dual-wielding - it looks really stupid for some reason.

The flamethrower isn't useless. The flames can go through walls. I've burned countless military personnel and tanks at Cranberry Station and there was nothing they could do but scream or explode.

I hate how the Chainsaw does slow you done, wish it didn't . If it didn't slow you down I would have liked it.

Theres some weapons that I really hate to use like the pistol, the satchel charges (don't ask me why), the brass knuckles and the flower thing.

Hand to hand combat is fun, but the peds tend to die much faster with the brass knuckles on. The ability to get rid of unwanted weapons is something that I would like to see in future GTA games.

I hate most of the Melee weapons. Except for the katana, knife and maybe the nightstick. The rest of them slow you down, you can't sprint with them. Which is stupid. Anyone could pick up a baseball bat and sprint just as fast as they can without it.

 

The sawnoff shotgun is ok until you achieve duel wield. Then it takes way to long reload.

the only weapon i hate is... flowers. kinda makes me look stupid.

 

make sawnoff fire more faster/no reloads:

sawnoff is my favorite shotgun. the trick is.... when you reach hitman level, you get 2 of them right? 2 bullets for each gun. fire once so the gun will shoot to bullets. roll your mousewheel up and down to switch weapons and go back to sawnoff again. the weapon is automatically reloaded this will eliminate the long reloading time.

I wonder why ppl hate Heat Seekink RPG. I guess it would be the best after Minigun in this slot If you want to shoot faster just ignore the Lock marker it will go in the direction of crosshair instead of Lock marker if not locked on target. And why would anyone want shoot faster when damage can be done at 100% success rate with little patience. I enjoyed Heat Seeking RPG.

 

I dont use any handguns atall. I used em only when SMG shells were scarce

The d*mn rifle/c*ntgun really annoys me.Good for distance, can even work for sniping, but still it is pissing me off how slowly its shooting is based.

1) I used to think the Chainsaw wasn't much good. Until I did a mission help and found that it was extremly useful on the Stowaway.

2) The Silenced Pistol isn't much good as the Cops seem to hear it rather well and come-a runnin'.(I've used them in real life and the 'movie' noise assigned to it isn't at all real.)

3) The Sawed-Off shotgun is 'cute' but gets CJ killed in any gang war.

4) I Still find the Teargas Grenade useless. Although I am developing a skill with the Fragment Grenades for clearing out Container Ships and Warehouses.

5) The Katana is too clumsy; getting the Knife early saves ammo when it's in short supply.

 

So usually I rely on the M4, Desert Eagle, and Molotov Cocktails, and Knife from the start of the game. (You just have to know where they are, Free in Los Santos.)

The worst gun are the flowers you hit with and smash someone face

Here's my list:

 

- Worst melee weapon: Flowers

- Worst pistol: Desert Eagle (while it's more powerful, I like faster reloads)

- Worst SMG: Tec-9 (didn't like its accuracy)

- Worst projectile: Teargas Grenade (it doesn't hurt you)

- Worst shotgun: Sawn-off shotgun (lack the range and accuracy)

- Worst assault rifle: Ak-47 (I rather go accuracy and larger bullet stock than power)

- Worst Heavy weapon: None (all of them are useful)

- Worst rifle: Country rifle (lack the range)

sure the Desert Eagle only holds seven (7) rounds but it kills with only one (1) shot.

The other pistols take three (3) to five (5) with 17 rounds. So it is the best, actually.

Why do you all hate the sniper rifle? Not good at aiming?

 

If you compare the two Rifles, the Country Rifle is completely crappy, whereas the Sniper Rifle can zone in or zone out, and in general is good for just that... sniper work.

I would have to say the ones I use the least would be some of the melee weapons, like the pool cue and golf club.
