Tim Dog
Which movies did you laughed the hardest? What are your favorite comedy movies? Here are a few of my favorites, all old movies, but still very funny to watch! Three Amigos The Naked Gun Monty Python's Life Of Brian

Chickstick
Airplane is brilliant. The two kids talking about coffee: "I like it black. Just like my men." National Lampoon's Animal House is hilarious, if you've never seen it before I would recommend you find a copy. "I'm a zit! Get it?"
makeshyft
Like a few other people here, I liked Police Squad and the Naked Gun films that followed. Other films and TV shows that I find to be pissers are: Flying High (Airplane) Monty Python's Flying Circus The Goodies American Psycho Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas Ace Ventura: Pet Detective Fawlty Towers Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels Snatch There's more, obviously. First that came to mind, though. Edited May 27, 2008 by makeshyft
Otter
I hate these topics - not because of the topic itself, more because I can never remember all of my faves. I'll list a good chunk of them, though. Christmas Vacation - We're going to have the hap-hap-happiest Christmas since Bing Crosby tap danced with Danny-f*cking-Kaye! Monty Python's The Holy Grail - Run away! Doctor Strangelove - There's no fighting in the War Room! Sleeper - My God! I beat a man insensible with a strawberry! Anchorman - I'm going to punch you in the ovary. Withnail & I - We've gone on vacation by mistake! The Princess Bride - Rodents Of Unusual Size? I don't think they exist. (suddenly attacked by a giant rat) The Army of Darkness - Hail to the king, baby. Billy Madison - Stop looking at me, swan! Kentucky Fried Movie - She's frying the cat in pure Nesson oil. (screech) Up in Smoke - ...that's where my money goes. In my lungs; and sometimes up my nose... The Ice Pirates - Why'd you make him black? Because I wanted him to be perfect. Flesh Gordon - (takes a big sniff of air) Good, there's oxygen on this planet. Waiting for Guffman - I'll tell you why I can't put up with you people. Because you're bastard people. Spies Like Us - Every minute you don't tell us why you are here, I cut off a finger. Mine or yours? Yours. Damn! Meet the Feebles - "Anal Antics"... yes. It will appeal to the intellectuals. UHF - Badgers? We don't need to steeenking badgers! Wayne's World - I also have an extensive collection of hairnets and name tags. Fear of a Black Hat - Take away the pornography; take away, you know, the, you know, women-bashing; take away the kill-whitey stuff. Take it all away, and you've got the kids next door, you really do. Idle Hands - Yeah, I was a little bitter about the getting killed by my best friend thing, but I've had time to get over it. Harold & Kumar go to White Castle - I made some love stains in the back. You'll see... Napolean Dynamite - Whatever I feel like I wanna do. Gosh! Kiss Kiss Bang Bang - Uh, I'm retired. I invented dice when I was a kid. Clerks - I'm not even supposed to be here today. Oh, God, I guess that was a few.

TubbyJ
Anything that has Judd Apatow or Seth Rogen attached is comedic gold, especially Superbad. Then of course there's Monty Python and the Holy Grail, the Harold and Kumar movies, Wayne's World (personal favorite line: "If you're gonna spew, spew into this."), and just about anything Kevin Smith writes to name a few. Andyzoot
South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut- Such a brilliant film. I think it's one of my favourite comedies ever. Also a mention to Team America as well. Fast Times at Ridgemont High- Awesome! Totally Awesome!! Toy Story 1 and 2. Evil Dead 2 (Why can't I find Army of Darkness on Region 2? ) Wicker Man (Remake) : I've only seen 3 minutes of it and thought it was hilarious! Sheeno
Airplane! Anchorman Borat Hot Fuzz Shaun of the Dead South Park - Bigger, Longer and Uncut This is Spinal Tap Are all that spring to mind at the moment. I want to see Wayne's World, Superbad and Knocked Up, though. They're apparently all very funny.
Mullen
I love this flick called Little Murders (directed by Alan Arkin, 1971). A hilarious, completely over the top black comedy. Elliot Gould did a great job in it.

All the comedy was in the dialogue for me. Some things you miss if you don't pay attention, and have to watch over again. An example I missed the first two times is: "Your Dad's made himself judge, jury and executioner!" "He's not Judge Judy and executioner!" The context, and the way it's said gets me whenever I hear it.

Bartleby
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels Yes. Also, to abridge Otter's list: Monty Python and the Holy Grail - "There are those that call me....Tim?" Billy Madison - No quote, just the Penguin. Anchorman - "Last time I looked in the dictionary, my name's Ron Burgundy!" UHF - Same awesome quote. Wayne's World - "Hi....I'm in Delaware." Also: Airheads Talladega Nights Super Troopers Beerfest Happy Gilmore (Jackass!) Harold & Kumar 1&2 That's all I got for now.

Bartleby
You know... I still haven't seen Airheads. It's a pretty lightweight comedy, kind of like Sandler's usual movies, though Brendan Fraser is the leading role, I guess. Steve Buscemi, Joe Mantegna, Judd Nelson, and Chris Farley are all in it too. I really haven't watched it in awhile, so I'm having trouble pulling some funny quotes out of my ass.
