dragonballz9
I have a ps3.Did not want to buy another console but xbox360 is getting Fable2 which is rpg and a great game and i love rpgs so, what do you guys say buy a xbox360 or not. I already have a Ps3 so my friends keep telling me dont buy xbox360 ,it will get 3 red lights and upcomming games are not good. Some questions before i buy xbox360, 1.When will the next xbox will come. 2.Great upcomming games of xbox360. 3.If i play 3 or 4 hours a day so whats the chance of getting the red lights. Any other information will be helpfull.
Deuce Deuce
The new xbox will probably release within the next few years I'd imagine. Upcoming games: Gears of War 2, Fable 2, Ninja Gaiden II, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Excessive play generally doesn't lead to the RROD unless you aren't keeping the console well ventilated. Doing the right things like keeping the console (and power brick) on a flat, wooden surface where they both are exposed to any kind of air will mean you'll have a much less chance of seeing the three red lights. After almost a year of owning an xbox I can genuinely say that if you treat it right, it won't die out on you. The newer version of the xbox is a lot better than the older model which had a higher chance of overheating. And if your xbox does get the three red lights, you're under a three-year warranty anyway with Microsoft so you can simply send it in to them and have it replaced/have a new one sent to you. And your friends? PS3 fanboys, 'tis all.
Doink
You'll be fine. Don't listen to your friends, because like Duece Duece said, they're just being fanboys. If you have the money for it and really want to play Fable 2, then I say go for it. Also, since you like RPGs, Lost Odyssey on the 360 is another title worth checking out
Throw Jews down the well
Nigger, never buy xbox. Its shit. Microsoft sucks black cocks.
Gouveia
3.If i play 3 or 4 hours a day so whats the chance of getting the red lights. I can proove I played 7:45 hours, non-stop, in GTAIV and I still play it. If you take care of the system, you'll be fine. For the games: Halo Wars GRID Gears of War 2 World in Conflict Alone in the dark Resident Evil 5 There's a lot more, but those are the ones I plan buying

They might also not want their friend to sue his money on a second consle. Or they would be jelous if he had 2. Im interested in this new xbox. can someone give me info? FemaleSolidSnake
I dont have anything to say against xbox, as i have never bothered to purchase one. I am satisfied with my ps3, but more consoles = more fun. I might get one, once i have extra money. . . Anyone knows why did 360's price dropped down? (Note: I am not sure if it did all over the world. but it sure has dropped waaaay down here!).
Hart
There is a bigger and better market for games on Xbox so i say yes, buy it. The only good game i can think of coming to ps3 is MGS4. Killzone 1 was sh*t, so its most likely killzone 2 will be to
Deuce Deuce
Its not fair to call them fanboys. They just dont know any good upcoming 360 exlusives. To say "don't buy the Xbox 360, it will get the three red lights" is pretty biased in my eyes. That screams out fanboyism. If his friends said, "I wouldn't be sure about the Xbox 360. I've heard about a lot of technical issues with it, but I can't count for much as I've never looked into that. I've also checked out some upcoming titles for it, and in my opinion, they don't seem very ground-breaking. The xbox could really be good though." Then, it would be unfair to call them fanboys. Protonkid
DON'T!!! Remember what happens to windows when you play games non-stop! You have a PS3 - Enough! Stop spending money for another console if you have one already! And by the way, see my title. See? I hope you can get both of my points now. Doink
Protonkid makes a valid point because you can totally play 360 exclusives on the PS3.

Doink
You can't. I was being sarcastic to the comment of his about having a PS3 being "enough" If you have the money and want a 360, don't let anyone else stop you. Plenty of my friends have had one since launch, and have taken great care of them, and have not gotten RROD. And before anyone tries to call me a fanboy (girl, really): I'm saving up to get a PS3 . I have a 360 and have had zero problems with it. It's one of the newer ones with the new heatsink and chipset. I take good care of it, it's pretty quiet, and has never overheated. Plus, exclusives like Fable 2, Lost Odyssey, Dead Rising, and Mass Effect (well, that's a on PC also now) have kept me more than happy.
ChooseAGoodOne
Why not? there are so many games that wait you to play

GTASIX
I have a 360 and a PS3. TBH the 360 isnt that bad in comparison. It lets you play your own music over the top of games and thats a feature I miss from the PS3. The only downside of the 360 is that you need to buy all your acessories aswell, but on PS3 most of them come built in. Like rechargable battery or wifi.
