HELP! STUCK!

Ok so basically my friend and I are at 41.92% complete and have hit a point where no more missions are available. I have no met a "Bernie Crane" or done any missions for "Ray Baccino". I have started dating carmen (have her health boost) and have failed with Kiki (am trying to get that started again). I have special help from Roman, but not from Little Jacob, Brucie, Dwayne, or any of the MccRearys. What are we doing wrong? How do I open up more stuff? (PS. also have completed all of Brucie's races and car list and almost complete with the jobs for Badman and Little Jacob.)

I had this problem, however you must complete ALL the missions thats are available at the time to unlock.

Do you see the Ray-missions on the map? He will call you after the mission "Waste Not Want Knots". After his last mission (Late Checkout), you can do a mission of Phil Bell (and after that the missions of Jimmy P are unlocked), so it is important to do the Ray-missions.

If you don't see the Ray-missions, you have to do some misions for the McRearys.

 

Are you sure you pick up your cellphone, every time it rings? Because else, that's perhaps the problem, because most of the people who give you missions, contact you by your cellphone.

 

You can also call every single contact in your cellphone, perhaps someone picks up his cellphone and give you a mission. What was the latest mission, you passed?

Ok so I have Ray in my phone but when I call him, he doesn't answer. Never did any missions for him, but he WAS on my map. Not anymore for some reason. I haven't the SLIGHTEST clue how to get going with missions. Uhg.

 

PS. don't know if this has anything to do with it, but we are always asked to download an update for GTA IV but we don't download it (his wireless keeps disco'ing him from the accss point....I dunno).

Sorry bro, I hate to tell you this but looks like your saved game has a glitch in regard to Ray's mission. My did the same thing and Ray was at 16.67% and I could never get his next missions. Happens for different reasons, but IMO it can occur when you're phoning in a completed mission can something happens like getting hit by a car, or if another call comes in during the "auto save" etc.. but I could find no way other then reloading to a point where you have the first Ray (of whoever based on when you get stuck) mission to redo. In my case, that meant restarting from sctrach

Yeah we just started over. UHG! Prolly would take just as long to figure it out as it would to just redo it (and not waste time with certain people).
