Icarus Posted May 27, 2008 Share Posted May 27, 2008 I used the PMP 600 for a couple of races, but mostly my SuperGT that I stole from some of Dimitri's hoodlums, as it went really fast and handled quite well around the turns. Seriously, the races were balls easy. To be honest, I wanted to use a police cruiser to do the races (having the lights on gets rid of the traffic - I always did that in Vice City), but I wasn't allowed to in IV. GTA_Robbie Posted May 27, 2008 Share Posted May 27, 2008 The comet's throttle response is slower than alot of sportscars. Ive been using the SuperGT the whole time. It does infact have good traction, raining dosent seem to become alot of trouble. The throttle response is not bad, though around corners(yea, but dosent really matter). And especially, it sounds great. The turismo has the advantage of mid-engined so it wont take alot of damage to the engine when crashing. But the sound, when i crank it up abit, my parents are annoyed. Though really, pretty nice sounds. But yea, Ive been using the SuperGT. Well, only like 3 races through the first island and unlocked three islands already, so I'm probably going to spend a day or two or three doing the races... 33stradale Posted May 27, 2008 Share Posted May 27, 2008 I don't know why, but i always keep the nice cars in the garage, and only use them for missions where you can't crash or lose them! Usually i use a taxi, the races are so easy, any durable car can be used... and there's a lot of taxis in the game. for one of them i used an ice cream truck, but it was against pickups so i won. i think the only vehicles you couldn't win in are the forklift and the faggio since they both have a topspeed of about 20mph(which is the respawn car for MP).
