For examle, you were low on health and armor and you couldn't escape from the cops? Mine happened a few minutes ago- I had just started a rampage. Soon I had 5 stars, and I took shelter from the FBI in the ice cream factory. I was low on health, and had only an Uzi and a Pistol. The FBI were waiting outside, and if I tried to leave they would kill me! After a while, another FBI Rancher slammed into the ones already outside, and they all blew up. I made my escape, but was soon ran over by another FBI Rancher . And sorry if there is another topic like this. I searched but didn't see anything. I never really had a tight moment like that in Vice City, but it has happened to me in San Andreas. But there wasn't the usual Mr.Whoopee in the Ice Cream Factory? If there was, I would have just fled in that lol. But assume not. Anyway, it has happened to me in III and SA but surprisingly, not Vice City yet... There was, but at first there were no other FBI Ranchers arriving, and so I had no way of killing the FBI without getting myself killed, so I had to blow it up in an attempt to save myself. asimov Posted July 5, 2008 Share Posted July 5, 2008 Out of all the GTA's I find Vice to be the easiest to eascape from the cops. I can be on foot and still easily escape the FBI and the army almost as long as I want. That is of course when I've got good weapons (Colt, m4 etc) which makes it a whole lot easier. Mainland Marauder Posted July 5, 2008 Share Posted July 5, 2008 I'd say trying to do the Vigilante mission in the Rhino. It's child's play until you get five or six stars. Then you get boxed in, and of course in Vice there are few long straightaways for a max-speed chase. I usually end up getting taken out by Level 10 or 11 because of a high wanted level. Finding bribes in places easily accessible inside the Rhino isn't easy, and getting out to pick up a bribe on foot is risky. If you were not on a mission, isn't there a save point at the Ice Cream Factory?? There is, but it's known to cause glitches. It may be better avoided. M60 FREAK!!!! Posted July 7, 2008 Share Posted July 7, 2008 ive had heaps of these moments but my fav was when i was shooting at ppl from the area behind the skmole shack with my M60 (lol) and i accidentally hit a cop car and killed both officers after about five mins of holding off more officers i ended up with a four star wanted lvl and i was hit badly by a chopper (how could my fav gun hurt me?) so i took cover in the shack and then the worst happened swat guys started roping down from the chopper so i went outside with a shotgun and started killing them after this i ran down to the greasy chopper stole a bike and tore ass up the highway then found a bribe then changed my clothes Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

In the newer version they fixed the problem, but yeah, just to be sure don't ever save there. You don't want to f*ck up your game. I'd say trying to do the Vigilante mission in the Rhino. It is difficult when you get to those levels in the Rhino, but when you get to level 12, try and get it so that the criminals spawn in the airport, and then most of the time after that, they will continue to spawn in the airport, with a couple of criminals every now and then somewhere in Little Havana or Viceport. But if you can manage to do this, then it becomes child play. My highest level on Vigilante is around 700, Spuds has acheived around 2500, and the highest I've seen is by Hell No.. with nye on 5000 levels passed. It get's boring after around 500 levels or so, so patience is a virtue in those circumstances. No bribe needed and six star is n problem at all. Yes some Army barracks and Rhinos enter the airport, but it's easy to blow them up/evade them. Another tip whilst completing levels 1-11 is to turn the turret on the Rhino behind, and instead of pressing the accelerator button, repeatedly press the fire button. You'll soon be at speeds even the Hotring racer cannot match and it's relatively simple to evade/blow up the law. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
