So, i linked my headset with my ps3, but can't seem to get it to work ingame. if anybody can join me online and help me out? perhaps to test it out in a game?

Four-Forty = PSN

WEP200 = headset

I linked it, put in the code (0000), did the test thing and selected it as default. Now i just need to get it working in game. any help is appreciated.

Have you registered your Headset with the PS3? Once you do that, you can test it out.

I think I have the same problem. I paired my bluetooth headset with the PS3, it recognized it, and worked, then when I go online, near my name it doesn't know the headset icon, nor do I hear anyone talking on it/whatever.

Kinda confused, and also, when it does work, how does using mic work (I realize there are modes so let's assume it's open mic for all), when you speak loud enough it transmits?

Thanks.

I'm not being snide but have you turned your bluetooth on? If so, you need to tap the button once to connect to chat.

I tapped the button (on the headset) and nothing. Can we see our mic icon on ourselves when it's working properly?

My PS3 detects it, and has it as the default thing, but in game it seems to just not show up.

Really annoying...

Have you gone into the 'Audio Settings' or 'Audio device' settings at the PS3 main menu and selected your bluetooth device as your audio device (after pairing it)? you'll be able to hear/test the voice there too

Yeah, I go to Audio Device Settings and it's there, I can test out taking, etc, but when in MP, I don't see the mic icon next to my name, nor hear anyone else (if they ARE talking).

I've pressed the button again, to activate it, but nothing seems to work. What am I missing here? Hah.

Try this: when you go to your bluetooth device manager, click your triangle button for options and when there choose "connect", could be as simple as that.
