What the...?

Ok so today.. i decided to get Xbox Live. As soon as i did it, I went onto GTA4... I then enjoyed my 3mins (thats right...) of online gameplay until i had to have my dinner... I came back up and the screen was completely black, I thought it was probably just cuz i went away.

 

So I restarted it... and basically It went to the copyright screen at the start.. and then my console just stopped making any noise and that was it... nothing else happened..

 

Iv done this 5 times and the same thing... Iv tried all my other games and they just work fine.

 

I then examined my disc to notice a circle 5 cms in from the edge all the way round... like a big circular scratch... I looked on the other side and there was another circular scartch around the paintwork... Im guessing the console some how damage my disc...

 

So now what? Is my copy of the game now completely f*cked or what?

Essentially. This seems to be a common problem, and one that most likely won't be rectified anytime soon.

I used to have a 360 premium and it consistently ate my discs and burned rings into them much like yours. It did this to 2 copies of Test Drive Unlimited, 1 copy of Saints Row, a copy of Tiger Woods 07 and a copy of Pro Evo 06.

 

I contacted M$ regarding the problem and they shipped me a new 360 out, after picking up my old one. The new one then burned a ring into Bioshock.

 

I jumped ship and sold the 360 for a PS3. Problem solved.

lmao thats a funny one, but anyway ust go to your local games rental store and rent out gta4 for a night, switch your broken one for the good one and leave it back the next day,you now have a new game.

 

Or switch to a ps3, ive always said ps3's were better.
