Mz. Hazey Posted May 26, 2008 Share Posted May 26, 2008 I don't know if this is the right place to ask this, but I just completed San Andreas and I want to get another game from the GTA series. I def want it to be a Vice City, but I'm debating if I should get the regular Vice City or Vice City Stories? Whichever one is most like San Andreas would be best imo. Vice City is a great game don’t get me wrong but if you want another GTA similar to SA in terms of abilities, features and other things to do then VCS is perfect. It is set 2 years before Vice City so the story basically continues into Vice City. Nah I've been playing GTA since GTA 1, lol. I've played every one at one point except LCS, VCS, and IV. I'm an old skool fan. I was only a kid tho when I played those older versions and I played them at my big cousin's house, but I was never "allowed" to have them because my parents are those type of ppl who think I'd grow up to be violent and all taht sh*t. But when San Andreas came out I HAD 2 own it because I'm from L.A. and I grew up during that whole G-Funk era (hence the avy) so yeah I was old enough to get it then. San Andreas is the only GTA game I've ever owned or beaten, the others I've all played just not much more than a few hours at my cousin's house. But thanx I'll prolly checc out VCS then, I like the bikes and stuff like that. Plus, not 2 sound bias but being a blacc guy is really cool 2 me, lmfao, but that doesn't really matter much if the game is good. So gameplay wise it's more similar? I'll prolly get that then and if I beat that soon enough I can get the original Vice City and the others I've missed. (Sadly can't afford a PS3 or 360 2 get the new one grrr....oh well)! RidingHigh Posted May 27, 2008 Share Posted May 27, 2008 (edited) VC has a great story and character, but only a few more features than III VCS has better gameplay features, but not that great of a story. There is lots more stuff to do after you've beaten the storyline missions though. I love the game, but I don't like Vic sometimes. He bitches way too much.
