Don Garcia
The Brothers in Arms series. The last one, Hell's Highway, was awful though. I lost my copy of the game, and I don't even care. That's not usually the case. I loved the first 2 though.
Algonquin Assassin
Need for Speed: Prostreet. I honestly don't think it's as bad as what some people say. I enjoyed it alot more than Most Wanted, and Carbon. What I like about Prostreet is there wasn't some Fast & the Furious style story attached to it. I also didn't mind the break from tradition, and being confined to a more organized racing environment. CTW is also another game that I feel is a bit underrated by most GTA fans. Most are turned off, and say it's crap, because it's a DS game. Personally I find it one of the most unique gaming experiences I've had in a long time. It's fun, and old school GTA for me, but unfortunately is greatly disadvantaged being on a platform aimed for the much younger demographic. That's not usually the case. I loved the first 2 though. You're crazy. What didn't you like about it? Oh yeah, I don't like that game too. It is because of the combat system, the cover and suppressing fire still somewhat lack of fun and hard to control. The guns recoil too much. Still, maybe I don't like this game as I didn't play the sequel from the start and can't get used to it's gameplay. As for WWII games, I think the best is Medal of Honor series. Don Garcia
You're crazy. What didn't you like about it? So, so much. I was totally let down. Let me just ramble a list rather than write 5 paragraphs. The cutscenes, lip-synching, and voice acting stunk in the worst way. The flow of the game was atrocious, with one pointless shootout after another. There was zero incentive to care where the "story" was going. The destructible cover they made such a big fuss over was nothing special. Wow, fences and boxes exploded apart. Is that such a big step forward? Shoulda been present in the series from the start. The moments in the game where you played alone, without your squad, were ridiculous. "Hey, let me go into the building alone! Oh man, the roof collapsed causing the door to be blocked! Now I gotta go it by myself." Very annoying. And the combat wasn't that exciting. Couple that with boring action pieces, and I label Hell's Highway a dud. But that's just my opinion.
Fnorg
The Brothers in Arms series. The last one, Hell's Highway, was awful though. I lost my copy of the game, and I don't even care. Still, maybe I don't like this game as I didn't play the sequel from the start and can't get used to it's gameplay. As for WWII games, I think the best is Medal of Honor series. Sorry for off-topic (assuming you want authenticity and realism) Medal of Honor has been sh*t for ages. Even AA blew. Blowing up a submarine on your own - WTF? And don't get me started on the ultra nazis and horrible parachute control of Airborne. The cutscenes Yeah, FPA was definitely better than the cutscenes, but I did like the cinematics (is that a word?) of it all. But then again, I want realism, so cutscenes can feck themselves. lip-synching Agreed. voice acting Some of it was absolutely horrible, but I thought Red and Matt sounded great. And the English dude too. There was zero incentive to care where the "story" was going. I thought the story was pretty interesting from the very beginning. I thought Matt was gonna die for sure in the hospital, and then it turns out he's suffering from battle fatigue. with one pointless shootout after another Huh? It's war, not GTA. The destructible cover they made such a big fuss over was nothing special. Wow, fences and boxes exploded apart Agreed. If you got behind a stone wall, you were set. The moments in the game where you played alone, without your squad, were ridiculous. "Hey, let me go into the building alone! Oh man, the roof collapsed causing the door to be blocked! Now I gotta go it by myself." Very annoying. Agreed. And the combat wasn't that exciting. It had its ups and downs. It's not as intense as CoD, for sure, but I thought the part where the first bridge blew up was amazing. The visuals were pretty good, and I loved that you could see your own legs, shadows etc etc. One of the worst aspects of the game was playing as the British tank commander. What the hell was up with that? I guess it was just to draw in new fans, I guess that's why they dumped some of the stuff that made the first two so great. All in all, it was a pretty good. Definitely not as good as the first two were, but it wasn't horrible.

Flesh-n-Bone
I feel Vice City Stories is REALLY underrated. That's one hell of a game IMO, most GTA fans knock it down because of the old 'glitches' story. The game has glitches, indeed, but hardly anything that makes the game unplayable. It's nearly my favorite GTA only below SA by the distance of a hair.
agent17
Twisted metal on PsOne, i use to play that game all the time when i was a kid That game was the best! They need to make a new one for the 360/PS3. I'd like to see Twisted Metal in HD. This. Most addictive games ever made. I would like to see a Twisted Metal Black 2, just because I loved the dark themes. isn't a new twisted metal being produced for the PS3? Possibly, I haven't heard anything official though, although I don't think it could possibly match up to Hardcore TM fans, considering half of the original Twisted Metal team was killed in a plane crash. (yes, I transferred this conversation from the other thread.)

Absolutely, that and the fact that many older gamers see it as a children game and never give it a second look, however LBP can appeal to everyone. However, Little Big Planet still has a large player base. I still play on a regular basis, I recently started re-creating various characters from Bleach. ThePhenom92
Black- You've heard me say this alot but almost everyone who has played this has gotta agree with me, this game was amazing. Sure it was your average FPS game, run, shoot, run, shoot, but Black did that very well. I had a lot of fun playing Black given the fact it was short, I played it over and over again and the fact it was on a PS2 was even more remarkable. I'm still waiting for the sequel. Backyard Baseball- This game was just fun. Me and my friend would spend countless hours playing against each other or playing in the season mode. I would love to play an updated Backyard Baseball on the PS3, I mean sure it wasn't the greatest of all games, but it was a good, fun game, and one I believe was really underrated. GodfatherITB
I'd have to say Perfect Dark for the N64 is still one of my favorite games. I only know like one other person who's played it, but I can still pick up that game at any time and have fun with it. Good sh*t. I played the demo for the new one they made and thought it was crap - but maybe I'm just too biased since the N64 one is so dear to me.
foohy
Grand Theft Auto IV -Everyone was all sh*ts and giggles before it came out then got pissed because it wasn't the second coming of video game Jesus revolutionizing their lives It's a great game and deserved every one of those great ratings it got! JetX20 -Great game! But I doubt anyone here has even heard of it... Just Cause -So it overreached. But buy was that a long reach!! If the gameplay catches up with the sheer scope in Just Cause 2 it will be spectacular!!!! The Sims 2 -OK so it sells like hotcakes and millions of people love it. But everyone here seems to use it in the butt of their jokes. Come on!! Abusing little computer-people is fun!!!

BLTZKRG
Despite my brother's ridiculous insults against the game, I went out and bought Kane and Lynch. Darrel
Call of duty 3. Reasons - It was awfully fun. i didn't take it seriously in the competitive department like Call of duty 4 or World at war, but the great thing is i didn't care about my score i just had a whole lot of fun picking up people in my vehicle, capturing the flag old school, being the medic! It was great fun!

It's a bit of a twist from all the mindless fun I've been playing(counter strike and IV) Oh yeah, especially hearing about the terrible review by Gamespot, not wait, Jeff. It was so bad that Gamespot fired Jeff. Their website did have tonns of banners and ads for Kane and Lynch, so it is a possibility that's the reason. But I severely that Gamespot is not going to admit to that...

blitsie
Is it me or was Time Splitters : Future Imperfect under-rated? I never even heard of the game when it got released and only got it from the bargain bin a few years later.
