Fun things to do in GTA IV

Sniping the gas bottles on the burger/hotdog stands. I usually park a couple of cars there first as well.

 

Doing the stunt jumps badly, to see how badly the cars can be damaged (very).

 

Seeing how long I can survive in the open air, not hiding with a 5/6* wanted level (about 2 mins lol).

 

Blowing sh*t up.

 

Flying around in the annihilator, practising with the guns.

 

Putting bombs on unsuspecting police cars. (hours of fun with no hassle).

 

Multiplayer.

i think the most obvious are multiplayer (if you can find a decent free mode game, or devise you own game) and reading the internet/ watching tv, flying the heli and using the guns, get 6 strars, do the vigilante missions (gang activity is the best, try to do it on very low health)

 

you can cause mayhem:

 

steal a fire truck and spay people/cars/hotdog stands.... and see what wanted level you can get away with!

there's a large ditch at the far north of algonquin... you can fit atleast 6 cars in there and then chuck in a granade!

blow up a bus in star junction and watch it land on stuff

drive down the airport/bridges at full speed (a lot of cars can do +150mph) and steer into a curb or wall or another car

run over stuff in the patriot

 

you can set yourself challenges

 

get the sultan rs and make your own rally stage

find all the modded cars (futo, uranus, chavos, oracle, dukes, zombie, merit, cavalcade, blista etc...)

try to get a police boat (very hard! you can't just swim to one with 3* wanted level), an fib buffallo, and a police maverik

start a war in china town or hove beach (shoot a couple of gangsters) and more will come and cops will come, you can get help from dwayne

play the stupid mini game and darts/bowling/pool and get good scores

 

you can just enjoy how amzingly detailed the city is, looking for pigeons/ stunt jumps/ tiny easter eggs (there's quite a few)

Achieve achievements. Even if you have a PS3 version, I bet there is a list of achievements somewhere... You can try to do them all, even though there will be no award or anything, atleast you get something to do.

get on a roof with cover above and use a sniper in a crowded are down below and killll

do a traffic jam in the algoquin-dukes bridge(park a bus on the 2 lanes, wait for many cars, climb on the bus, shoot a rocket(or packies car bomb) and ruuuuuuuuuuuun)

 

most amazing is putting a car bomb on one of those, then enter a car(NOT THE BUS OR THE JAMMED ONES), go on slo-mo, call packie and watch the amazing firework

 

or: spawn an annihilator(im not saving after) and go on slow motion, then watch it from above, its awesome)

 

that way i managed to copy the screenshot with niko and a lot of exploding police vehicles infront of him

Get a fast car, drive around as fast as you can, with lots of police, and see how long you can last before the car blows.

What am I missing for this? I've mowed down hot dog stands, fired round after round into them, and I have yet to see one explode.

 

Fun things:

Exiting the Bohan safehouse, waiting for a guy to talk to a hooker, jack his car, honk and then take the hooker as well.

 

Full throttle fire truck driving. I was driving north on the middle island at top speed, went in a section where the road dips under a road, clipped a convertible going the other way, and saw both the drive and the pedestrian fly through the windshield.

Not all of the food stands have propane tanks attached to them.

 

I like to call and hang out with Roman so I can beat the crap out of him or shoot him. Then he'll call later askin you to pick him up from the hospital. "Sure cousin," then do it all over again.

 

6 star police chases with a patriot and grenades= awesome

 

also escapin then running to another hideout from police chases: example: shootout in the triangle club then try to make it to playboy x apartment.

 

Use Dwaynes back up boys to help in vigilante and then brutally take them out with the combat shotty (they take a lickin')

 

I also like to get bored running around and just sit there and wish the DLC was out already!

go around in a car and drop grenades on the floor, drive away and watch it go BOOM! funny as cos the cops dont suspect its u, unless u drop one in front of them lol

Watch the physics. Just get drunk or run as fast as I can and jump in a oncoming car, just to see Niko flying.

 

Also, crashing bikes in the skate park

1.kill someone in the backseat of a car. steal car then make sharp turns to throw them out.

2.pushing people down stairs.

3.stealing firetruck and smashing every car i see.

I sometimes like jumping off tall buildings, and watch Euphoria in action.

 

It's so fun. I love playing pool, and bowling aswell.

 

I haven't gone on a all out rampage yet. I might try it soon.

I love to steal a very fast car, go top speed and then bail out when i see a car coming in front of me. Just to see Niko bumo his heading f*cking hard on the front of the other car.
