GTA FPS?

Sorry if this has been discussed before but do any of you think a first-person version of GTA would be pretty cool? I mean, keep it exactly the same as it is at the moment but through the eyes of the antagonist?

 

I cannot see a reason why this wouldn't work. Plus I think it would be really fun.

 

They have had a top down version and a third-person version so why not first-person?

 

What do you guys think?

I dont think it should be in because it have never been represented in any other GTA game except mods...

I say NO to first person. keep the GTA tradition

Yeah, I think it would be really great to get a FPS-like view by just selecting a different camera angle (COD4-LibertyCity shootout!)

As a potential camera option, sure. Kinda sad and surprised there isn't one, even if not for just scoping the scenery.

 

As the sole focus of gameplay and the only option? Absolutely not.

well,boiling point was sort of FPS gta-ish,but it kinda sucked so,what the heck,an FPS GTA would be nice.

F*ck FPS. There will be no point in character customization. It's not Half-Life, it's great as it is.

I reckon an FPS style match would be a good multiplayer mode, or as unoleian said, a camera angle for looking around. It gets pretty annoying having to bust out a gun to look at things, especially when peds start screaming and calling cops cause you wanted to scope out their killah Manolo Blahnik pumps...whore, THAT is why you got shot
