Raindancer
Looking for a 500gb USB external hard drive. Nothing to fancy, just somewhere to store all my video's & MP3. Seen this one. http://reviews.cnet.com/hard-drives/wd-ele...7-32428255.html Seem's okay. I want an external hardrive that I can plug into my PC, then unplug it and take it away to another computer of PS3 and plug it in. Pretty simple request, can anyone suggest something? Looking to spend about £

Looking to spend about £70 Nice unti. Have you priced it up over here? I use the WD pocket external, 320gig. I use them because they are USB powered and no need for a power supply. I have always used these since the 160gig ones came out. Small and very portable. You can take them anywhere which means you can have all your programs favourites anywhere you go. I think the 320gig one you can get for about £90 ish, Bit dearer than some but worth it.
Raindancer
Yes. its on the Dell website. BUMP EDIT Okay it has just arrived at home. I have two questions in regards to my PS3. (1) When I search for media on my PS3, will I be able to see the hardrive on my PS3? (2) Can i plug this thing straight into my PS3? I know I could be patient and wait to I get home and test, but i want to know NOW!! Edited May 28, 2008 by Raindancer
matthew1g
Don't know about those, but as for hard drives, I recommend either of these below: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct....%20(WDH1U5000E) http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct....Drive%20(28604) http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct....ve%20(301302EK) http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct....05004OTD3E1-RK) http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct....05004FDD1E1-RK)
