Karambalaya
Is it anything interesting to find underground? (Apart from a certain easter egg under the Statue of Happiness and those fingerless gloves you find on that subway station. ) If you walk along the subway tracks to that big junction on the eastern part of Algonquin (where the tracks from Broker/Dukes connects with those in Algonquin) you'll find a resting place for hobos with mattresses, discarded furniture, graffiti and old car wrecks(!). It's not much, but it's something.

AngerOfTheNorth
I nearly never go into the subway to be honest. Apart from parts of certain missions and to provide a good way of getting away from people online (particularly when cornered and without a car in Cops and Crooks), there really seems to be no good reason. I'm sure there's stuff down there though.

The Invisible Lines
I had fun one day by taking a bike into the subway and I just went from station to station killing peds on the platform with the RPG and grenades, then disappearing into the tracks on my way to the next station. You get a wanted level, and can even dust off some cops when they come down, but as soon as you take off to the next station you lose your wanted level because they can't see you and the next station is usually out of the wanted area. Just make sure you stay in the middle of the tracks when you're doing your killing/riding, otherwise you'll be the meat in a train/ground sandwich.
