Girish Posted May 25, 2008 Share Posted May 25, 2008 v1 is the original version which is moddable and has the objectionable hot coffee content. v2 is unmoddable and without the hot coffee content. But it can be made moddable by downgrading. Officially, v1 is no longer available. And you can find v2 only in stores. You can buy and download SA from Steam or Direct2Drive, but that would be v3 which is unmoddable as of today. If you're talking about downloading warez, then I guess you haven't read the forum rules. None are "BETA" as BETA refers to a stage of development that isn't the finished game, then the real game I beleive is ALPHA. These are the main terms for A and B to understand easier. I think alpha comes before beta. @geelock817: As I said before, if you buy the game from a shop, you'll have v2 and if you buy it from Steam or Direct2Drive, it'll be v3. I heard someone mention that if you have V2, It will say V1 In the readme. If you look in the main menu, in the bottom right, it will say V2.00 If you have V2, If you have V1, Nothing will be there.
