Stuck on 2 missions {SPOILERS}

Been stuck on 3 missions now for days and I cannot seem to pass them

 

Catching the Wave

 

I get to the checkpoint with Phil(?) and he jumps out and makes his way to he boatyard, I follow behind but get killed even with full health and armour in seconds. Why does he jump out? I tried to reverse and keep him in van so I could snipe goons but doesn't work

 

I need your boots, bike etc

 

Annoyingme now, I chase him but cannot get a decent shot on him, attemptd it about 20 times now

 

There is a 3rd I am stuck on but cannot think of name of it just yet!

He jumps out/moves forward through the warehouse because you need to get to the back where the boats are. However you have time at the beginning of the mission from the point your arrive in the van.

 

Get out whilst Phil is still talking to the man who approached and make use of the cover at the entrance. Phil will take the other side so take out as many enemies as you can from there, when a few are down Phil will make a run for the back. For you go to the other side of the front entrance so you can pick off some more. Then proceed to the back, there are more outside but they shouldn’t pose any problems.

Thank you for the tip about getting out of the van early, done the trick and I have beaten it!

 

Now doing missions called TRESPASS and FLATLINE, failed both on first goes but will try again later

for the 'boots clothes motorcycle' mission, you can shoot one guy easily at the start, but the game purposefully makes it very difficult to kill the other one so don;t even try, just concentrate on keeping up (it might even be impossible). wait until you chase him out of the subway, then you should be able to shoot him easily enough.

for the boots bike etc mission, i had the same trouble as you the first time round. killed the first guy easily but took a wrong turn and lost the second guy.

 

tried again, killed the first guy, and followed the second for quite a while until you get halfway accross a bridge. the subway trains ahead of you have crashed blocking the line he stops, so get pretty close and execute the guy. job done.

Glad I found this thread, because I was stuck on this mission. In fact, I haven't played much because of the frustrations of getting killed every time; I keep dying and then losing money. ANYWAY, I will give this a try. Thanks!
