Stef and I are like, the most knowledgeable around the GTA3 section, and there IS NO beta, it CAN'T be downloaded nor bought anywhere. Learn how to spell please. Zom-B Posted May 25, 2008 Share Posted May 25, 2008 It's a shame that members must simply expect to be flamed if they ask a question about the beta, a simply re-linking would be easier. The fact of the matter is there are a lot of screenshots of GTA3 in it's Alpha and Beta stages and it looks a lot different. People simply would like to know if you can find any of the files from these versions, such as the old style of Liberty City, player models, school buses, particle effects and anything else of interest. Short answer no, long answer maybe. The only way to get that content back would be to make it yourself. For experience modders, this would be a good challenge, and not a very hard one at that seeing as most of the old content is very low poly. If you really want to see the old blue police cars and all that jazz, you're going to have to make them yourself, or get a team together for a project. In Regards to the question, yes of course there were beta releases along the way, most of them were probably internal beta's and not actually given to any other sources. These are either being Archived or have been destroyed, As far as I know there are no leaked GTA III Beta's on the Internet.
