If you open the parachute immediately after you jump, you'll never get there. It has been reported that if you let CJ glide forward, instead of going down CJ will get close to the police copter. I have gotten there quite a few times, first I snipe the SWAT cops beside the chopper and then take the parachute and don't open it till I'm almost near the chopper's roof. Then I easily get into it. I just confirmed that I can get the Police Helicopter (PC): 1. Before you jump off the roof, sniper kill the two cops at the chopper. 2. Parachute on down to the street and get a car. 3. Remove your stars at a Pay N Spray. 4. Head out to your airstrip and grab the Jetpack. (Obviously, you're not completing the mission yet). 5. When you get back to Caligula's, you'll see the chopper is still there. And the two dead cops. 6. And the chopper is fully accessible and flyable. I flew it into my Hangar (only had The Dumper and a Sea Sparrow in there, so not overloaded). I then completed the mission and saved the game. But when I came back, the chopper was gone I think there's a strong chance that if I could find a way to fail the mission and then save, the chopper would become permanent. I'm about to try killing myself, can't think of anything else... EDIT: That did do it. The chopper is mine. Not sure why I wanted it though. Probably because I wasn't supposed to have it.... Glide... I guess I don't follow that. I thought maybe gliding was chute related, but you just said not to open the chute at all. What did I miss? Edit1: I know you can point your body during a descent before you open the chute, but that's a shade above terminal velocity. That can't be what you mean... Edit2: Holy crap! That is what you meant!
