Jimex
Some nice work there matey. I remember when I first started out in Photoshop and it can certainly be a very daunting task. One of the great things I see in this is some very nice cutting out of the characters. All too often beginners neglect this vital skill which I find is the fundamental aspect to a good photoshopper and that the rest falls into place once this is nailed. You've played it safe with the background which is a good idea while you get your confidence up, but for future pieces it would be good to experiment with maybe some simple gta skylines or other picture backgrounds which have some simple shapes and objects to work with, also to these you can alter the hue/saturation settings under the 'image' tab to give it a colour tone and then emphasize with some changes to the brightness/contrast to really make it stand out. These are just some simple techniques but the best method to progressing with photoshop is just through self discovery and experimentation. Though I would like to mention good-tutorials.com as it really helped me get settled into photoshop and now and then it still continues to teach me something new Once again a very nice start and keep it up! R-Kade
I sucked while I first started photoshop. Some advice is, you should know what looks good in your eyes. To me the background, text and renders do not fit at all. You can make your own backgrounds with certain brushes, depending on your style, mine style is grunge/grunge-smudge, so that takes awhile to get the right feeling. When putting in a render, you should blend it in, because it just looks plain in yours. As for text, I like where you put it in, but it seems too plain and not very creative. Google up some tutorials for the right style for you, it will take some time, but its fun... sometimes. (The sig right now is the only sig that can be uploaded and was made by a friend of mine, all my sigs are too big in memory.) Here's a link to my favourite sig I've done. Howard04
I need to learn how to do this, how long did that one take ya? Great work!
Blackadder.
The renders (Cutouts) are good, but the text and background lok awry to me. I think a simple backdrop of Liberty City and removing the outer glow from the text would make it look far better. Very good for a newcomer at Photoshop though.
