It's a working buttons, works in the game. EDIT: Hmm, 8 views and no replies - I could go and get a control that has a "turbo" feature but I'd bet anything that the same thing would happen. Tried this mission at least 40 times, and only 10% of the time do I actually not get shot or not drive the bike into the water... Does it depend on how far behind the chopper you were? I've held the thing down, pressed it as rapidly as humanly possible, pummeled the button with a screwdriver, even taken the thing apart and rigged the buttons' membrane to constantly press and depress. For me (at least 5 times) Roman just says to hang on and grab his hand, and I just slip off. How many tries did it take you? I think I better pay someone else to do this (the dimitri one isn't any easier) - came close to destroying a controller... EDIT: 60 attempts on the Dimitri branch now - you really need superhuman reflexes to keep up, half the time he gets away before I get in the boat, the other half he lands just when I catch up... we sorely need an action replay for this platform, I thought this game was actually playable compared to the earlier installments, then this happens... Nope, I DID manage to do it, god knows how (doesn't really give any indication that you're progressing) - but I'd like to do it for the "deal" branch - and apparently the final mission for that is quite a bit harder, despite being much easier to escape.
