I would approach it different then it is now for sure. The way I would LOVE for it to work (ARE YOU LISTENING R*???): * Whenever you steal a car and drive it around the GTA world and a cop gets near you there is a chance that the cop will run your tags to see if the car was stolen. Not all the time...but some of the time. This would be a good time to say that there should be less police around in general. (This would really make you sweat when that policeman pulls up behind you when you are in that hot Banshee!) * The nicer the car, the higher chance that a cop will run your plates...but again...not always. * If the tags come back stolen it would be a bit harder to ditch the cops as it is now. * If you jacked the car from someone at a traffic light it would be reported stolen right away. If you took the car quietly from a driveway late at night you may have up to 12 hours before it is reported stolen. * Now you can earn money in the game and BUY your own car. You start the game with little money so your first car would probably be a crappy Willard or something but it is yours! As you get more money then you can buy nicer cars. * GET THIS: Because you own your own car then you would take better care of it and actually care if it gets damaged. You would also...WANT TO WASH IT! <----A real use for the car washes and paint shops in the game!!! * You could still go crazy and steal nice cars and run amuck and do total destruction but you cant just trade in you banged up Banshee for the nice one that just spawned and passed you going to oposite way with no consequences. In the real world... ppl do naughty things in a car just by jacking your license plates and putting them on the car with same color and year model. over all what you came up with are boring. cops are already annoying me. wtf? You would also...WANT TO WASH IT! <----- dude... you can do that right now. i've washed and sprayed my red turismo i have outside one of my pads. just roleplay a bit. it's already annoying that i magically have the whole island after me when i've killed a dude quietly high up on a house. AcornActivist Posted May 24, 2008 Share Posted May 24, 2008 this idea wouldnt be fun...the whole point of the game is that i want to steal lots of nice cars. i dont want to have to care for my crappy beat up junker...if i see i guy cruisin down the street in an infernus, ima take that car for myself...and probably total it within 10 minutes. then do it all over again. lets weigh the two methods... causing havoc and chaos in a sweet awesome disposable car of my choosing (as long as i can find it on the streets) or taking my piece of crap car to the carwash until i can afford a slightly less crappy car. the second option is more realistic, ill give you that much. but this is a game..and it just wouldnt be fun Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Not only will gta lose its fans, but it would be labeled gayest game of the century. I like IV's realism now, but more realism and i woulndt wanna buy the next gta. CrymsinB Posted May 24, 2008 Share Posted May 24, 2008 I like the Idea of maybe taking more cops out of the game and having more things you can get wanted for, as in driving a stolen car. maybe 1 out of 10 times they end chasing you for finding a stolen car.
