Revenge or Deal? [POTENTIAL SPOILERS]

I chose Revenge. Money really is quite trivial, and the $250, 000 payout from 'Three Leaf Clover' was more than sufficient enough to satisfy any foreseeable monetary needs.

Besides, I let Darko live so it was time to get Revenge.

Since I hve always liked tragedies I chose Deal as soon as I found out it had a very tragic ending. Indeed I was rather moved when Niko was grieving for Roman after he died. It was something different to his Ice Cold Killer feeling that he gave off.

When I chose Deal, Kate lives and I get $250,000 but Roman dies and I have a negative responded from Kate and she refusing to go out with me after the game completed in Deal.

Kate dies if you choose revenge, and we all know that she is a useless bitch, and a waste of a character. Who gives a f*ck about her, and moreso, what's a good reasing for Roman dying instead of her?

I only completed this game last night, I have been taking my time with it, I didnt look ahead and find out what was going on.

 

I chose revenge and here is why.

 

First up, I killed Darko because Niko had spent the whole game hunting this guy down, I'd made Niko do alot of crap to track this guy down, I'd done alot of jobs for a lot of people, and after all of that there was no way I was going to let this guy live, who is to say he wouldnt come after me later. So he had to die.

 

Then when the choice came through, I didnt listen to Kate, I didnt care what she had to say, she was talking rubbish, she wont respect me? but she respects the rest of the stuff i've done? forget it, her opinion didnt matter to me.

As for Roman, sure I cared what he was saying, but Roman always had one eye on the money, he was always careless when it came to money, he didnt care how he got it, just that he had it.

There would always be ways to make money in Liberty City, I didn't need to do a deal.

 

So that made it my decision, and Dimitri tried to kill me once, for that, he must pay.

Oh by the way, why doesnt that bitch Kate answer to my calls after I did the deal? Yes, I know she said she would be angry if I would get so creedy, but after the last mission she did call and tell that if you need someone to talk to or hang out with, she would be there for you, but when I did call her the f*ck didnt answer. So what´s up with that?

Yeah, but Darko was dealing with his own demons and living an awful life, and in his final breath (after killing him) he whispers "thank you" for killing him as he probably doesn't have it in him to kill himself. I did kill for the same reason as you but Niko said he didn't feel any better although if you do leave him Niko feels better letting him live a life of misery. As for Revenge or Deal, I did Revenge as I needed Roman alive for the achievement "Driving Mr. Bellic". I did "Deal" twice but failed twice due to 1. first time got in a slow truck and lost the guy 2. second time Phil Bell kept falling of the bike and eventually got shot by the cops (i earned a wanted level).

On my first play through i went for revenge probably because i found out Roman dies during the Deal and i wanted to use my first game save as my main 100% save.

 

Then on my second playthrough i did everything opposite from my first so i done the Deal.

i had like £300,000 and for the achievemtn of being rich owning £500,000 i thought f*ck it, i will deal and get the achievement, i dont care about my cousin and his cabs, they were crap anyways, u couldnt skip them!

 

besides im playing through again now 2 get less than 30 hours achievement, and im gonna do revenge this time, so then i got 2 saves going either way.....reason being........... i have always thought the decision there will play a part in the DLC so i want both ways, so i can have both ways on DLC if the decision makes a decision there which i reckon it will

true, but $250,000 can buy alot of cab rides.....plus some fun weapons to wreak havok with since the story line is over. Plus, everyone dies in the end anyways. The only difference is that with revenge Mallorie dies instead of Roman.

 

**Note - Although Darko may not die, you get to kill Dimitri (If you take deal), and he's quite the a$$hole too, so, I don't really see any loss.

So that pretty much points that i picked up Revenge.

 

 

Now for all the decisions :

 

 

 

1. I killed Ivan in ''the not so terrible''. He anoyed me pretty much while i chased him, so i sprayed him around his body while he climbed the ladders. And it was the begining of the storyline, so i didnt care for anything else except for money.

 

2. Cherise, both she and her boyfriend looked very suspicious to me with their ''excuse'', so i immidiatlly decided to kill her once i got the hold of the gameplay again, with a rifle.

 

3. The Holland Play, earlier in the missions Niko and Dwayne talk about their lives pretty much the same terrible, a lot lost, so instead of killing him i decided to kill Playboy X, take his mansion, and spare Dwayne's life.

 

4. Clarence, on the rooftop, he sounded too untrustable, and Francis told me he will pay a lot, even though he is an annoying twat as well who i didnt enjoy listening. So i threw a grenade next to Clarence, and his body became atoms and molecules seconds afterwards. Funny way to kill him really.

 

5. Luring the dealer, so i decided to shoot his TV, seemed like the easiest way, he immidiatly came to the window to see what happened, and i sniped him as he came out. Piece of cake.

 

6. Francis or Derrick. As i said Francis annoyed me much in the story, so this was a good oportunity to kill him, which i did. And besides his family didnt care much about him anyways.

 

7. Darko Brevic. Someone who ruined my life cannot be allowed to live, however he maye is changed. No mercy here, i killed him

 

8. I picked revenge. I never trusted Dimitri from the start, only did kill Faustin for money, so this was the way to go, as well as sparing my brother rather then the girl.
