Revenge or Deal? [POTENTIAL SPOILERS]

Not only Dimitri Rascalov, die, also Jimmy Pegorino will die in Deal and Revenge.

 

They both set up by killing Vlad, Mike Faustin and some random characters.

I choosed Deal. I felt bad after I killed Darko so I wanted to do something good.

Beside the Deal ending was much more dramatic than the Revange ending.

Why kill Pegorino at the end when Dimitri was your biggest enemy.

Cos i knew that either Kate or Roman gets killed in the end and i figured that if you listened to Kate she'd get killed. It just seemed the kind of thing R* would do.

 

And besides Dimitri was an arseh*le, the sooner i could kill him the better

REVENGE, because Dimitry will trick you over and over again! Must get ridd of him! Kate don't give Nico no love, just using him for car rides and other omusement - and gives no love in return...

Let's see... I puased the game before making my decision to look at my criminal statistics. With about 2000 kills and about 3000 people runned over I felt that any other choice besides Revenge was meritless, and quite frankly, stupid.

 

And this was yet another qualm I had with the game. I thought I was playing Grand Theft f*cking Auto, you know, the game in which it's all about me, money, killing, and me, and f*ck everyone and everything else. There is no Mr. Nice Guy, there is no sense of morality, and it should be egocentric and narcisistic mania from start to finish just like in old GTAs. I'm sure others disagree, but that's how I play GTA.

I chose deal. The problem was, that Roman got killed. Other than that, deal was the better choice, in my opinion. You get mad money, the Kate thing was never a problem cause you don't get her in either ending (one she dies, the other she stops talking to you), and you kill Demitri in both, only in deal, demitri has a much more grusome death, which he deserved. Rittled with bullets, coughing and spitting up blood, on his hands and knees, begging for his life, at the statue of happiness's feet. Beautiful!

Ofcourse revenge. I shot the f*cker with a Deagle. Although, I`m playing the game through again with totally opposite decisions.

Revenge all the way. I'm not particularly fond of Kate, or how hypocritical she can be ("Why don't you stop killing people? Hey, want to go out tomorrow? Wow, he's so drunk and so am I, but he can probably fly a helicopter just fantastic!"), but also it's what Dimitri deserved. He betrayed everyone, including me, and repeatedly attempted to kill me. Like f*ck I would do a deal with him just for cash.

 

That, and I got to see Niko threatening him with a rocket launcher at point-blank range.

I like the aspect of decisions. It makes the game have a great replay value with the story...Plus, I've always wanted to decide between things.

 

In the old games, there were plenty of things that I wished I had a decision on.

 

That being said, I chose Revenge.

I felt REALLY bad for Kate though...I never liked her, but Niko almost cried there.

Revenge was my first choice, but I wanted to see what Deal was like.. and after growing so attached to Niko, seeing Roman die really f*cked me up a little. I literally got high from the shock.

After I chose deal Roman died and after a while Kate dumped me so I really f*cked up lol.

I choosed Deal just because Roman messaged me 2 times and I didn't know he will die. Now I'm at 50% going for revenge.

I did deal but then foud out that roman dies so I reloaded the game and did revenge. Kate was a frigid bitch anyway. Thats what she gets for not letting niko in her house.

Deal i don't care what he done that money was helpful. I didn't know at the time that Roman dies so i probably would have chosen revenge if i knew.

Just did the mission 5 mins ago which is why I avoided this thread till now. I like to get into the head of the character so I let Darko live as its a worse punishment to live with guilt. At that point I wanted out of the hitman business and chose deal as the idea of Vice was too apealing! Plus, like most of you, I dont like Kate (Karen rocked). Romans wedding scene actually got me emotional (well done R*, thats not easy to do) and now its off with the suit and on with Claudes treads. Now Dimitri dies.

Against my better judgment, I did the deal, because it was what Roman wanted. Kate was getting on my nerves anyway. Packie was right, dating her is like dating a f*cking nun. Getting laid IRL is easier than getting her into bed.

 

If I had known the deal would cost Roman his life, I would have gone the other way. I hated the outcome, but I liked the ending, if that makes sense. I hated that Roman was gone, but I thought the end was appropriate. No riding off into the sunset for Nico Bellic. I also liked how Little Jacob stuck by Nico to the end.

After hearing where Dimitri was holed up I SPED toward Revenge, but between the phone calls and Niko's past in the game (I let Darko live), I started driving slower, and slower. I wanted to kill Dimitri, but Roman was right. He was better off, why revenge against him? Plus all that money, helping out Roman...... I got out of my Cavalcade and started walking toward the docks....

 

Wasn't sure if I was going to turn around and head toward the deal, but I went too far and ended up in the mission. Got onto the boat and halfway to the bridge when a mis-thrown gernade (way to go Niko, you moron. Target is above you and you underhand the grenade.) killed me.

 

So I re-loaded my last save and sped off toward Deal.

 

After shooting the everloving CRAP out of the truck and hopping out to recover the money (dumb ass caught on fire and dropped it right by the burning truck) I got blasted a couple times by police. Hopped back in the Bobcat and WHOOPS. Phil had bailed too, and was against a wall halfway between the Bobcat and the burning box truck. Drove over, picked him up, spun the truck around to jet out of there and there was a cop standing in the middle of the road. I saw his shotgun blast hit the hood and half the windshield of my Bobcat and the grey scene-o-death was on it's way.

 

Grr.

 

Stopped playing.

 

Will re-load the previous save tonight.

 

And choose Revenge.

I know there was a sad ending for both but I chose REVENGE because it wouldn't be right letting Roman die for the sake of making money. Roman is family and more important than Kate. Even though it's only a game with fictional characters but I felt rather sad when Kate died. I never had a problem with her even though she wished death on Niko at times over the phone. I knew what was going to happen to her way before and I felt bad knowing I was driving her to the location of her death. I couldn't let Roman die and have his wife go through hell, mostly on their wedding day. In my eyes, Niko wanted revenge and f*ck the money.

 

Kate never did anything wrong and she got murdered over Niko's problem and I feel sorry for the lady. This is because I respect women in real life so much and I hate it when I have to kill a women or when I have by accident in these games.

 

I'm glad my Niko still has Carmen, Kiki and Alex even though they are a waste of time. I didn't like a You Tube video when somebody pushed Kiki off the top off a building. One minute she was happy on a date and the next she fell to her death by murder.

I chose Revenge. Money really is quite trivial, and the $250, 000 payout from 'Three Leaf Clover' was more than sufficient enough to satisfy any foreseeable monetary needs.

Besides, I let Darko live so it was time to get Revenge.

I always thought revenge was the right thing because Dimitri was a threat to Roman and Niko, Roman was just too naive to see that, so much that in the wedding he got killed for it, even though Niko always wanted to kill Dimitri purely for payback in reality

I made 2 saves and did both! Deal First, then Revenge.

 

Unfortunatly on Deal the final cut scene showed me wearing a special souveneir T-Shirt instead of the classy suit.. which kind of took away from the moment!

I did the revenge too. I knew that if I choose the deal I would end up being backstabbed again, so I decided to put end to it all.

Looking through this, it looks like most people chose this because of the outcome.

 

If someone really liked Roman, and hated Kate, then they would have taken the deal. That way they would have made Roman happy with the money, and he would have done the opposite of what Kate would have done.

 

Besides, the deal ending is more climatic.

Roman text made me think, but i knew there will be NO vice city, also i didn't want to disappoint Kate

I have no idea what happens after completing "deal" or "revenge" but i have to kill Dimitri, hate him. Hope i am doing a better choice by killing this f**k.

i did 2 save datas 1 for revenge and the other for deal so i could c both endings butim sticking with deal because

u get more money with deal but romans dead
