If it's Between WWII and 2000 I call it a Bazooka, and last but not least if it takes place in this century then it is a rocket launcher. I am 15 so I destroy your idea. The RPG-7 was designed by Russia (or the Soviets, whatever you want to call it), as a portable, one-man operable anti-tank grenade launcher. Being a Russian weapon, the acronym "RPG" would rather obviously be in Russian. Firstly that's what the damn thing is called in the game and secondly it saves a crapload of time typing just RPG instead of the other choices you provided. As for what RPG stands for, well it use to be Reaktivnyy/Ruchnoy Protivotankovyy Granatomyot which is russian for "jet/hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher". However obviously these days RPG is more commonly the abbreviation for Rocket Propelled Grenade. Unless of course you are one of those weird beardy types that wear a pointed hat and secretly harbour longings to be a 200 level dragon slayer, if you are one of them then RPG will mean something totally different and naturally it wouldn't be "realistic" for Niko to use one of them to take out a helicopter.
