Yeah you can still pickup hookers but as mentioned in the PALGN article I posted you cant choose your services or rotate the camera around the car to see the sex animations.

I honestly don't think you are missing much. The prostitute thing gets incredibly boring really fast, I think I did it twice and that was about it, would have been nice to have tied them more into the game. Something like get a portion of your health back if you do a whore (hey I always feel more alive after sex).

 

As for the pooling of blood again I don't think it is anything major, I mean the way the cops are you don't particularly want to hang around going "ohhh he's bleeding to death" because if you do you will find yourself bleeding to death thanks to the cops. I don't understand why the censor demanded their removal though but I think if you have the censored version you aren't missing anything to be honest.

I'm in England and I wish the game consoles can load other Regions. I wonder what the Region 1 version to GTA 4 is like. I was told that when GTA: SA first came out in America, it was uncut with the Hot Coffee bits and then Rockstar edited the game. Years ago, movies and games were released in America before they were in England and GTA: SA to my knowledge never got the uncut version here. It might have gone though the editing process before the UK release date. I saw images of CJ humping his girlfriends and licking them out and getting blow-jobs. I wish I could load the Region 1 versions of these games like playing Region 1 DVD's. I can watch DVD's that were released from any country but the XBox 360 doesn't have that to load Region 1 games in England like the PS3.

Ok that's really f*cked up.

 

I have noticed some weird things with my UK disk that i bought from HMV. (I finished both the AUS and UK version)

 

1) I have that extra loading picture.

2) Radio stations sometimes freeze the game for a second when i switch to a new one.

3) TONSSSSSSSSSSS more pop-in.

4) Surfing the internet is much slower.

5) Niko types emails at like 1 word per second. It takes like a minute to write a small email to Brucie now (used to take 2 seconds).

6) Game has frozen on me during multiplayer. AU version never did that.

I can't cite this, but apparently there is a mission in the uncut versions where you are required to sodomize a character. I've played through the story missions on an Australian version of GTA IV and this never occurred.

I have the Australian version for 360. I was the first person in my town to get it and I got it at 12:01 on the 29th. My copy had NO CHANCE of being edited. I can tell you now that the Aussie version:

 

Has the picture with Niko behind the crates, the chick with the lolly pop and the rasta's playing domino's. That's IT. There's no dude picking up a hooker.

 

We have NO blood pools, but we get blood on the cars and sh*t like that.

 

We don't get blood spots on the clothing or anything like that either.

 

I don't think it's a great deal but considering we pay sh*tloads more, I think we should get the full version. I'm 16 so I don't have a sh*tload of cash, I will try and get enough money in the next month or so to get a UK version and then I will take some screen shots of both.

I have the aussie ps3 version but i might trade it in to eb and get $110 back because i'm going to order it off playasia for $70 + $10 postage.

It depends on how long the load is. Usually on my 360 I get up to the hooker next to the car, but there are two more after that, one with two cops and another with Niko in a car. I've only seen them once and it surprised me quite a bit to see 'em.

I have the UK version and I don't have the man picking up a prostitute picture (I always have 3 pics). However, my version isn't censored. I can see the humping+blood oozing from dead bodies, etc.
