tommyd84 Posted May 24, 2008 Share Posted May 24, 2008 So, I got 100%... 11 days ago. The highest that my social club rating got was 97% and it stayed there for over a week. So, a few minutes ago, in a last ditch effort to get into the 100% club, I attempted to relink my gamertag. Guess what happened? my percentage went back down to 0% AHHHHHHHHHH The Social Club is an epic failure... competing in the 100% club contest was a huge waste of my time. I finished the game 100% over a week ago and it keeps alternating between 61% complete and 0 % complete, so I don't think it is down to your relinking of the gamer tag. Also like many others I contacted Rockstar via email about this and their replay was :- We will determine what users are eligible at the end of the contest period and will take into account our server problems. We can see a users stats even if they are not visible on the Social Club. We make no guarantees that a user will or will not be eligible until we have reviewed all entries. Since I tend to finish games before playing to much multiplayer. Seriously this game is not that hard at all, And I barely play video games. I gotta play through it again though to get the Liberty City Minute achievement. But the first time was just for fun, to get the whole story watch every cut scene and mess around a little bit. If they want to take it slow and catch every detail thats there thing, if they want to go at it fast and not give 2 sh*ts about the story then let em do it. I have no idea why, but conencticut along with a few other states aren't allowed to enter it. and that pisses me off. not so much that I can't get the key, but because somebody of power in my state decided I wasn't allowed to. Whoever registered and completed GTAIV with 100% would receive a limited edition "key" for completing the game. This stirred up controversy because the Social Club designed by R* is very glitchy.
