Going for walks

Probably one of the most trance-inducing things to do in the game. Walking through the city.

I turn the HUD off, switch the camera angle to over Niko's shoulder, crank up my surround sound, and sip on a cup of coffee while I just walk from place to place. It's a blast. And I think it's the most overlooked thing to do in the game.

I love going for walks on the beaches and docks just as the sun is rising to the east. With the chattering of the brids all around you and the ambience of city life, it is at times magical.

.Up&Coming.

I go on walks all the time in Bohan. But, usually I run into some Spanish guy and he yells at me and starts shooting me...and then my walk is ruined.

Hey yeah. I also like to just go around walking. It is funny to pretend to be a normal pedestrian. But then again... If I want to walk, why don't I go walk outside? lol.gif

because it's more fun to do in a parrallel universe such as Liberty City.

Plus, I live in Idaho...so this is as close as I can get to walking through New York.

Yea, i go for walks, or a jog, thats until i get interupted by dwayne wanting to go bowling, or a multiplayer invite........ill have to turn sleep mode on and sign out the network, and go for a strol through central park.

It would have been good if you could press triangle and sit on a bench, and just watch the world go by.

It the detail of the game that amazes me: cans, bricks, coffee cups... picking them up and tossing them at random people amuses me...lol...... and when you are on a big set of stairs, pussing the ped in front of you down them is always funny..tounge.gif.....and pushing that woman that was sitting on the wall ( a high one next the the sea ) and watching her fall into the ocean, then jumping the 50 feet in after her was a funny moment today....lol...... i love this game, its just a shame i cant enjoy it in multiplayer free roam aswell, cause everyone seems to turn a free roam match into a death match..sad.gif..... but wandering the steets as Niko is good enough, even if it does get lonely...

A bit after writing that, I couldn't resist to go on a jog (4 am, local time). I saw the sunrise once again for a long time.

where do i like to walk

uhm, in real life? You f*cking loser.

The reason I play GTA is to escape reality. I can do things I would never ever do in real life in GTA. Like kill the f*cking PO-LEECE!! (die pig die!), get a blow job from a fat hooker, or drive full speed while performing a drive-by with grenades in a school zone.

Why the f*ck would I want to walk?

Locked.

You don't add anything to a conversation do you?

Oh, and I'm still waiting for you to lock the thread.

This is an interesting question if you kiddies could play along for a change. It's a good question about the best graphical spot on the map!

Or that maybe SPOTS, instead of just one. I prefer all the various areas, often a place with more people offers up more humorous hearsay on the street from various peds. There are often jokes about "nice ass, baby" and the girl is replying in equal measure about "You ain't gettin ass this good"!

It's just a lot to enjoy all in all!

I always drive slowly and put the radio off. You can hear the peds say there oneliners.

couple of oneliners I've heared when I drove by:

guy to girl: Can I fist you?

guy to girl: I wanna shoot my load on your tits!

guy to girl: If you blow me I buy you a drink.

or when you are blocking the road with you're car: guy: are you jerking off in there?!

It's fun as always biggrin.gif

That is interesting.

Deleware Ave. in Hove Beach. Seeing the the morning sun shine on to the Broker Bridge and the Algonquin skyline is awesome. I love the 3D look of how the bridge goes blurry the further it stretches over the river.

The sunsets are also cool, although they can be annoying if you are doing a mission where shooting is involved. The game's atmospheric and climate changes are awesome. They improved no the rain a lot too. God I love this game so f*cking much just for the scenic part alone.

Yeah, it's also trippy in how everything looks really grey and gloomy when it's raining durring the day time. Almost all the color is taken out of everything. I used to live in Seattle, and I get a lot of Deja Vu when ever it's raining in Liberty City.

Gta IV King

I like to walk around middle park in the morning. And along the beach in the evening.
