Something Else That I Enjoy

In the other GTA games, we can't do this. In GTA 4, when there's a police helicopter flying over you, you can shoot the cop with the machine gun out of the helicopter. I've been meaning to mention that for a couple of weeks.

 

I forgot the name of this weapon because it has initials and I call it the grenade launcher. Today I found out if you have the police flying over you and you don't have a grenade launcher you can shoot the pilot with the sniper rifle and the police helicopter goes down. Today it landed on a load of police cars and killed them below. I got one big load of cops with one single shot.

I have yet to try this.

 

But, on the subject of helicopters, has anyone noticed that a helicopter always flies by at the toll booth between Broker/Dukes and Bohan? It happens every time for me.

yeah, I noticed that, also happens when around half way across top bridge between Bohan & Algonquin, but it's higher up.

it hasnt, i remember trying in SA and you could kill the pilot, you had to blow the whole chopper up. it annoyed me.

What I meantioned, I never thought of trying this in the other GTA games but I know you can't do it in GTA: SA because nobody is in the police choppers. I hovered in front of some and I always saw nobody inside. It was as if they were flown by poltergeists.

You couldn't do that in previous games, since the chopper pursued you, shot at you and flew itself, not people.

I keep forgetting the name of that weapon but I call it the grenade launcher as it's known in real life. Rockstar make-up their own weapon names for some weapons.

On one of Playboy X's missions I had to take out a helicopter before it took off with some Mafia/Union leaders in tow. I had the sniper rifle and took about 3 shots and somehow took out the pilot. It's my 3rd time through on story mode, and have tried this numerous times and this is the first time I've pulled it off. The other times I played it, I was able to reach the pilot long before he was going to take off. I have no idea what the OP is about.

yeah i believe this is the 1st gta of the series where you or others can be injured from the inside of a vehicle. before IV once you were in a car you were safe as long as the car didn't explode but you can die while driving w/ low health in IV if they shoot you through the windshield or something.

no, actually RPG is the technical term, even rocket launcher is long rockstar dont make the names of the weapons. even google RPG and a grenade launcher is generaly called a 40mm grenade launcher, and some assualt rifles have it in built

i shot the cop out with the carbine assault rifle it was funny watching his demise as he smacked off a building first and continue the freefall to death:) only on gta!!
