In the IV art book that comes with the special edition, there is a large wireframe computer model image of Niko holding/aiming a revolver, but I have yet to come across one in the game... very dissapointing move by rockstar.

I know you're going to start going on about the D/L-C, but come on, something so blatant like this should in the game to start with or never at all/listed as a removed feature from the game.

 

Oh, and for all those people who get annoyed with phone calls, you can set it to silent/sleep mode, I forget which it is called, and voila, no one seems to know about this?

setting the phone to silent mode stops all story line calls / texts coming through untill you knock it off again. it can be found in the phones options if i remember right.

Why do they only give us a dozen weapons - seriously, what the f*ck were they thinking over there!? Who exactly was the douche at R* who thought it would be a sharp idea to reduce the firearms, hide all chainsaws and golfclubs? Why the hell would they go to the trouble of drawing a fancy revolver for Niko and then not include it in the game? They must be a royal bunch a bastards ...

Could have just been a prototype which was replaced by the desert eagle. A revolver would have been nice though

 

 

The silent mode is great for killing the pigeons and doing the jumps etc when trying to achieve 100%. Stops all the annoying calls asking you to go out partying or on dates.

that 'combat' pistol is NOT the desert eagle, it doesnt kill in one shot, and the chrome 357 revolver from previous gta's is sadly missing, also a 1-shot killer.
