The ending

Right i have a few things to clear up, in the last 2 missions i have done i Killed darko and then took revenge on bloody dimitri , what happens if you let both of them live? I heard Roman dies but who kills him?

 

Also, apparently Kate dies if you choose my options, and who kills her lol?!?!? And i have not come across having to kill pegorino as of yet, or is that my next mission?

In both cases of Roman and/or Kates death it is always Jimmy who fires at them, he is aiming for Niko but in both instances misses and kills the people Niko holds dearest to him.

Actually If you choose to do the deal, Dimitri sends a hitman to take you out at the wedding, not Jimmy. Jimmy's happy that you did the deal and kept his little mob alive with the money intake.

Hmm Its a good(ish) ending in all, but i mean its a bit [email protected] that you have to let one die! It would have been an amazing ending if it was just a bit longer, lmao at least you get more cutscenes with little jacob in (god bless subtitles). So for the last mission you go after dmitri instead?

yea well technicaly you go after them both, but you only want to kill demetri, but demitri kills the mob boss

first time i played the game through, i was furious IRL that kate got killed, i wanted to make pegorino suffer.

 

the deal ending was really disappointing, too harsh.

I was Pleased with the Revenge deal rather than the Deal ending. In retrospect, you lose Kate either way- either by losing her respect by doing the Deal with Dimitri, or by having her get drilled with bullets by Pegorino.

 

One of the Nicest (or soppiest, if you prefer) parts of the revenge ending is that Mallorie is preggers, and Roman decides that if it's a girl, they call her Kate. You do, however feel guilty by striking another blow against the McCrearys. Just take Packie out for a few more rounds of beer. Not on him, of course.

I just finished the story. I had the ending where Roman dies, and Kate is gone (not dead) and Niko goes and kills Dimitri. I guess if I choose the deal or not or take revenge is where the ending changes? But currently im like 60% in the game and the story ended, i was a bit surprised. I can play the story again with another account name, and see the other ending but that might take a while.

I didn't really care when Kate died.

 

I dated her once and she was boring as sh*t.

 

It felt a bit wierd when Nico kept on talking about how much he liked her, then going off an f*cking other chicks and hookers all the time

 

I thought she was totally lame.

Lol im not so fussed now, i thought it was poop that one had to go, but the huge irony is that she talks to you more once shes dead?!?!?!?!? lmao im not sure R* spent all that long considering the ending

 

I doubt in the DLC they will release extra kate stuff, otherwise all those who let her die will be a bit peeved lol

if kate dies , she calls you after a while to arrange something , that is a bug. Also , if you did deal , people say that kate never want to see you again , but that's not true. somehow R* wanted to keep kate alive , even if she's dead...
