Flesh-n-Bone Posted May 23, 2008 Share Posted May 23, 2008 Hey have anyone ever tried other ways of killing Salvatore on that mission apart from going up the stairs and snipe him. Today I went to the roof early and was bored to wait, so I decided to kill some peds walking there, then I gained wanted level and messed with the cops from up there and then the Sentinel's arrived, I exploded the first two and the five of the Leone boys walking with Salvatore guarding him then got out and once I killed one with M16 I was spotted. They ran close me and wanted to shot me down there, but I killed the most of them and just before Sal ran inside the car (I had 5 stars wanted level) I shot his foot off and mission passed! Then a couple of the Leone's were still there and tried to kill me once I went to my car so I would leave Portland for good. Claude GTA3 Posted May 23, 2008 Share Posted May 23, 2008 I go behind Luigi's Sex Club 7, and then after all the mobsters get out, I go down the metal stairwell and shoot him with a shotgun. Either that or I climb onto the building next to SC7 (The one with a hidden package on it, and an AK47 in LCS) and snipe him, or throw a molotov/grenade. Or sometimes, I ram him with a car. I did it by using the M16, And when the Mafia Sentinel with Salvatore just turned around the corner, I started shooting quickly at the Mafia sentinel, and Bam, it blew, killing Salvatore. gtamodder Posted May 29, 2008 Share Posted May 29, 2008 Another way I did it is when I made a roadblock with lots of cars, and just before the Mafia Sentinel took the corner, I blew all the cars, and it blew Salvatore up, and all the cars in the roadblock. Sniping him from the roof across the road is too easy I just tried it by just going into the area behind Luigi's Club and waiting for them all to come out As soon as they start to come out his goons see you of course and start blasting. They won't all come all the way out and down the short flight of steps, and they do get in each other's way. You have to either go in and get them or stand opposite the doorway and blast them all. Being well armed with something like the M16 does help. Watch out for the one with the shotgun After you've killed them all Salvatore himself will appear - but not from the club, he comes out of the tunnel leading to the street! He tries to go back towards and into the club and he doesn't try to hurt you at all so you can even just punch him until the mission is complete Although you'd have to be quick to stop him by just punching him. He's running back towards and back into the club. It's really easier to shoot him with whatever you used to get rid of the goons However, if you don't kill all the goons quickly then Salvatore just suddenly appears in the tunnel leading to the street and quickly gets into one of the cars and drives away Steve Edited June 9, 2008 by Steve Crook Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Honestly, I can't see where is the logic in marking "killing Salvatore" as a spoiler, and then adding a huge image of Salvatore's corpse. Anyway, I used Thrawn's tactic.
