Voicing your opinion, or bitching as you say, is one way to get what you want. Also things can change through DLC or in future installations of GTA. Us 360 users already know we're in store for some big changes to our GTA IV game. First DL comes in August. We already know there will be other DL's, so technically, the game will change.

This far my favorite GTA game yet, There's nothing in it I wouldn't want taken out.

 

Sure a few things could be added, A few more weapons, Custom cars, Hair and tattoos. Maybe a few more clothes, and Like 1 style of plane and parachutes.

 

The rest of the stuff in SA was boring as hell, the Gym sucked, Learning Kickboxing sucked, Air to ground missiles weren't that fun.

 

But even with that stuff missing this game kicks all other GTA's asses.

 

Go back and play SA if you hate it that much.

 

And also bear in mind the DLC is coming out.

GTA IV is the SEQUAL to GTA III meaning not only is the game bigger then III but it has more. Be happy since it could be a sequel to SA then it would have been a degrade.

If many people didn't voice their complaints Rock* wouldn't know what they did wrong/right and need to improve on. In the end it is really just constructive criticism, people need to understand this and not bash others for voicing it. He is one person, but if enough of these lists are made, Rock* will hear what some people have to say. I am not encouraging these threads. I am just saying that because of these threads Rock* will learn what people want, even if they don't plan on adding it though DLC or in the next installment.

I just watched a saints row 2 trailer and it looks like what rockstar would have done if they cept it looking cartoony and left all the cool bits.

After finishing gta iv and getting bored of it, I can easily say saints row 2 will be funner. The game looks really crap(visuals) but it looks fun!

Ever notice how in San Andreas, the game that most complainers are practically putting on a pedestal, has terrible graphics even for its time, practically non-existant AI, and terrible physics? Until systems become more powerful, you're going to have to find a balance between the core elements (graphics, gameplay, controls, physics, etc.) and add-ons (customizing, parachutes, gang wars, etc.)

But all the stuff taken out was not gameplay. It was add-ons. They not only beefed up the graphics, they improved the controls to work on multiple systems (Try playing San Andreas on an Xbox. Yikes), greatly improved physics and AI, and improved the combat. That's gameplay. Giving Niko a mohawk and minivan with hydraulics and nitro boost that'll probably be wrecked within five minutes is not gameplay. When the system can handle the memory needed for all of those different things, call me. Until then, stop trying to make it GTA: San Andreas Stories.

anyways GTA IV is in my opinion far less fun especially in replayabilty after beating it but it's still 1 of the best games of all time to me. Honestly I don't think any game has matched SA in terms of scale, fun and replayability yet. And yes SR was an extremely fun game despite it's lacking storyline, repetitive missions, corny dialouge and f*cked up difficulty on certain missions but I can't wait for SR 2 just because it's going to be all out fun like the 1st.
