Bellic_Enterprises
Doesnt the word vice stem from prostitution et al ? meaning no city in the world would be called "vice city"
xNamexTakenx
No, "vice" doesn't necessarily mean prostitution. It kinda means "evils." Well, not exactly, but kinda. You should look it up, to be sure. But, it basically means stuff like money, girls, car, etc. AFAIK. Anybody care to elaborate for me? Also, you know that Vice City isn't real right? Its a city based on Miami, Florida. Of course there would be no city called Vice City. R* makes up their own cities. Liberty City seems like a name that no city would have. But, in fact, there are small-time cities known as Liberty City (But, they have nothing to do with New York).

Wanted Assailant
Another idiot. I think.. Vice: Means something wicked or immoral, or some kind of criminal activities such as drugs and prostitution like you mentioned. Just to let you know, Liberty City is an actual city down in Florida. Horatio Humboldt
No city would be called Vice City? I suggest you to get a really large map of the states and check out some place names, ok no Vice City but some far weirder ones... sheesh. Not just the Yanks I hasten to add, before I moved to Canada I live near a town called "Pity me' and when I moved down south there was a small hamlet called "Slut's hole"... I bullsh*t you not! Finally, if we were to imagine Vice city was real. It may have been nicknamed 'Vice City' by puritans and the name stuck. Sometimes a place name may be used to help the locals remember 'the Bad Old days' and make the name symbolise the positive aspects of the city while remembering its roots... just a thought. lloydo
Another idiot. I think..Vice: Means something wicked or immoral, or some kind of criminal activities such as drugs and prostitution like you mentioned. Just to let you know, Liberty City is an actual city down in Florida. I found it only to be a neighborhood, R* could never have a direct name because of the abuse it gives to replica cities. Vice i believe is just degrading of something or other.
