Im quite new to the MP (Im on PS3(Just thought i should put that in there somewhere(Too many brackets?))) and im not the biggest fan of just jumping in with a bunch of random people i don't know so i'd rather know a few people for here for example to team up with before attempting MP. Im usually playing late at night that is 10pm till 2am normally untill after my exams then i have a lot more free time. Unfortuanately i don't have a headset at the moment so i can't talk on it. So if anyone fancies it hit me up.

Would like that, but I've pretty much restricted myself to playing Cops & Crooks, and adding friends who have mics.

That is, unless you have enough common sense to adapt to situations and play modes properly? =]

(hard to find nowadays)

I usually can, but im sure i can also listen to others mics? As you can tell my experience is not that great online but i need a way to get into it. Im pretty mature when it comes to the game and can hold my own...well in the SP. I would dive into random games but im not comfotable with that or the level of maturity off a (Unfortuanately) large number of players.

I think experience is a smaller factor than common sense and maturity.

Since the game's pretty easy to get used to, and you'll know how each game mode works after (or even during) your first round of it, the rest shouldn't be much of an issue.

One thing that bugs me is that, no, you can't hear others if you haven't got a working headset/microphone plugged in.

My brother plugged in a headset earlier and it didn't seem to work or be recognized until he later changed around some settings in the PS3 menu's. Then suddenly I saw mic icons lighting up and voices coming out of the speakers, and I saw a mic icon behind my own name. I don't know why R* made it like this, but that's how it is...

Oh and I thought, before I used the working mic, that you could only talk to other players with voice chat by calling them on your cellphone, but that was before I came aware of teamchat. And WHAT A RELIEF THAT IS. Hate the thought of having to call someone who's sitting right next to me in the car while I'm getting away from the cops in Cops & Crooks, just to ask if he can pull up GPS or keep a lookout behind us or whatever.

Agreed. BTW Corey, I tried adding Shakeyjake, like twice, but I think I got the name wrong.

I didn't get an error saying the name doesn't exist but last time I checked he wasn't on my list or anything.

Was his PSN Shakeyjake111?

EDIT: Tell me if we meet ingame again, I'll see if I can get on now for my daily fix of C&C and maybe some petrovic-rescuing.

Now that is strange... It would make sense to be able to hear anyone anyways.

And in view of me not going out anyone reading this fancy a game of something tonight?
