All that wasted development time carefully placing pointless pigeons in all those perfect little cool secret spots could have easily been spent incorporating something into the game worth a damn. Like easter eggs... the secrets kind. A decent reward that you can't get at any moment in about two minutes without cheating, and 10 seconds with, would have helped a bit.
