You are the reason why people think a shade of skin colour makes the difference between human and sub-human. Learn to think. You cannot say that "All Indians are Terrorists." It is the equivalent of saying "All Britishers are Racist." First get your facts straight... Keep your silly opinion to yourself. unoleian Posted May 25, 2008 Share Posted May 25, 2008 (edited) Sounds to me like the ragdoll/body whatever you want to call it falls into/connects with the gas tank on the stand. Some physics glitch is registering it as hitting hard enough to explode. I've had a few errant baseball bat hits at stands make them explode. But only on the gas tank-equipped stands. Never a body tho. Wouldn't be surprised if it could, though. Anyone checked to see if this stand packs gas, or is it one that lacks it? I've seen the Euphoria engine do some strange things. One guy mostly pinned under a car threw it when he went to stand up, putting the car on its roof. This could be a similar force/reaction glitch in some fashion, perhaps... Has nothing to do with race or terrorism, and is not a glitch. unoleian Posted May 25, 2008 Share Posted May 25, 2008 I'd call it a glitch, since propane tanks aren't prone to exploding violently just because someone fell on it... ...same goes for baseball bats and any other minor blunt force applied to it. But, hey, still neat. More glitch than 'feature' for sure IMO, as far as bodies setting off explosions go... On the note of the propane-equipped hotdog stands, I learned to be rather wary of these obstacles while racing around the city streets. An errant collision with one of these hardly ever ends well... No. A volatile vending cart with a penchant to explode at the slightest provocation and an NPC who just so happens to occasionally stand in the right spot and trigger a collision event with the gas tank? Yes. However, people's ability to take an obvious glitch/freak occurrence of the engine and call it a 'feature' or a purposeful inclusion never ceases to amaze me. Let me guess. What powers the heat to make hotdogs at the stands? Gas. When a gas bottle breaks = Bang. It's just Rockstar being realistic. It's not a terrorist.
