Slamman Posted May 23, 2008 Share Posted May 23, 2008 I was in the midst of marking a health location on the map (using the paper map to write on and the Menu map as a guide) I went to the bathroom while it was basically paused on the menu (with the large gold axis crosshair) and when I come back, the map is gone and the cross hair is now centered in the screen...it doesn't appear to move either. I haven't messed with any functions beyond that because this just happened to me, anyone else see this oddity?? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Been drinking enough water... was the piss really yellow or clear; we need to know!?!?!?! In all seriousness... This hasn't happened to me. Were you able to enter back into the game or did you have to restart? Simple game freeze or disk read error perhaps? Slamman Posted May 23, 2008 Author Share Posted May 23, 2008 No, there's some incidental music soundtrack under the main menu, it plays very subtle movements, I think it's unique and not the same as another form of music. I think the intent is to not be disruptive and repetitive when in a prolonged paused state. I did click the back button to get back to the game, as I was in the map section, zoomed in, this zooms out again and back to the game in two steps, The first of which presented the crosshairs at the very top of the map, I was on the Happiness Island at the middle, bottom though, so it jumped by itself and the map re-appeared. Seems it's a glitch as it went back to the game with me on Happiness Island (I almost typed Starfish Island!! haha) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
