I also think it'd be good if you had one person in say, a swat van vs 5 other people in cars. The swat van just tends to plough through everything in it's path and your car's as good as dead if it's smashed against the wall by one but vs 5 it could be a fair match. Rattles Posted May 23, 2008 Share Posted May 23, 2008 go to the liberty state pavilion towers on the first island theres a nice arena where you can squeez your car though the doors. we made it that you couldint get out of your car untill its on fire and then you have to survive on foot for as long as you can, some end up finishing in a fist fight and yea no guns. The Park might not be the best option either because its hilly and you'd be going too slow spinning out in the grassy areas. Try the Airport, Airport parking lot (in front) or the helitours landing docks. later, ~J Last Man Standing Destruction DerbyScout out a good location for room to roam and with car spawns nearby. One good spot is the parking lot in front of the airport, just on the other side of the billboards. It is a decent size and has quite a few car spawn in or around it. Another good one is the HeliTours Helipad over on the south east docks in Algonquine (spelling?). Move the heli's off the docs, or blow them up and bring some cars in from the street nearby. Proposed Rules: * All start with the same vehicle or very similar vehicle in terms of handling and mass and try and make sure they are in the same undamaged condition. * Start from opposite ends of the lot, spread out your start locations depending on the number of players you have participating. * Begin destruction derby vehicle mayhem. * If your car still moves you are still in the game. Once your car will no longer start or catches on fire, then you have been eliminated from the Last Man Standing Destruction Derby. For those players who do lose their cars they can just get out of their vehicles (carefully!) and watch the remaining competitors go at it, or if their car is not on fire feel free to watch it all from inside their vehicle. If you are stuck, on your side, or upside down don't bail because you could still be knocked back into the competition (or completely out of it!). If you do it on the helitours area many will be knocked off or accidentally drive off into the water, in those cases you are out as well. * Beware of burning vehicles. If you blow up, you are out! So if a player is about to be eliminated (on fire) and wants to take a couple cars out with him they can drive their flaming car into you and bail to watch. If you don't get away from the burning vehicle and die then you are out and the last man standing, perhaps the one that got away in time, wins. * If multiple cars are taken out in the end at the same time, i.e. a burning car placed in the perfect pile up, then it is a draw between those remaining players and they quickly duke it out again while the eliminated players still watch.
