GTAaddictforever Posted May 18, 2008 Share Posted May 18, 2008 (edited) why would Rockstar remove police on motorcycles............ they were fun to steal and run away from...... just realized this after like 40 hours of gameplay lol. dumb moves by rockstar strikes again everytime i continue to remember what GTA 4 -could have been-, i get disappointed. GTA 4 should have introduced funny stuff like the SEGWAY (and a cop version too LOL!) and a big mall that you can go inside of and peds are shopping. have some missions in there..... eh, so much stuff........gta 4 is an empty bottle =( heck, they even have FAGGIO's for cops lol Edited May 19, 2008 by GTAaddictforever Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

deimos256 Posted May 19, 2008 Share Posted May 19, 2008 I think your odds of finding a horse mounted cop in NYC are far greater than one on a motorbike, they really only use them on the highways and for ceremonies, Has any of the NJ members noticed the Alderney cops are dressed exactly like NJ state troopers? I live in Queens I and I never see cops on bikes all I ever see are IMPALAS , Crown Vics, Chargers and Unmarked vehicles and SOMETIMES only in the summer sometimes near Flushing Meadow Park and rarely in my Housing Projects are cops on mountain bikes Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

sk8_2_die Posted May 19, 2008 Share Posted May 19, 2008 actually i'm really supised i'm the only one saying this but I"VE actually been pursuid by a coppa on a blue NRG.....it was in alderney and at 4 or 5 stars towards te petrol stationi north of the island. Now with that said i initially had never seen a blue NRG so i thought they had in cluded cops with blue NRGs rather than the traditional bike but after driving around abit i noticed a few blue ones. My theory is that since i managed to jack a bike and make a getaway with it and since NRGs tend to outrun cop cars much faster than other vehicles they cops must automatically hijack a vehicle of the equal speed so he must have found a blue NRG and chased me down. Then again we were in the area of the NRG shop who knows he may have broken in an stole it himself but its reaaaaaaaaaaallly fun though weaving down alleys and i just remember looking behind me thinking i had ountrun the cops and seeing a blue NRG hot on my tail and i was like HOLLLL F*ck and yeah it was quite a ride. If you guys really want cops on bikes just try getting 4 or 5 stars and jac k a bike and drive around INSIDE the wanted zone so it gives them time to get an NRG and you shouldn't be desapointed. And knw i didnt take a pic or a vid i just assumed others would have experienced this so i didnt want to look like a tool by making a big deal about this but apparantly i got lucky Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
kraft7 Posted May 19, 2008 Share Posted May 19, 2008 I don't mind that there's no police motorbikes, I haven't been to NY so I only know what TV shows about it lol, and from TV i've learnt that there's police horses and cars there lol. I'm sure police bikes would be annoying anyway, especially in 2 stars when they'd start shooting at you unlike the cars that don't shoot at you with a 2 star wanted level edit: oh and to sk8_2_die I actually once got pursued by a FIB agent in a bus when I was causing havoc around the Helitours building Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

GTA3Freak-2001 Posted May 19, 2008 Share Posted May 19, 2008 I realized this not long after playing, its not a big deal but they do add variety somewhat. I am sure its something that will be added in future games, remember guys this is like GTA3 it lacked a lot of stuff but over time these things were added as Rockstar got used to using the Renderware engine. REPLAY! sandbox fun forever.........something that is missing in gta 4. the game will be forgotten and go down as one of the worst gta singeplayers ever. thank god for multiplayer. if GTA 4 didn't have multiplayer and it had this current single player that we have now......ugh....................
