Parking spaces.

Am I the only one to think the Parking Spaces suck? I've lost loads of cars from, there, I lost my Sultan RS, just now. This brings me back to the Garage glitch from GTA: VCS on the PSP, It seems, random cars get stuck in traffic, and just push my car out of the space. It's annoying. Maybe they could extend the Catchement area, But only allow cars that you have driven to be saved in the space.

 

One time I arrived to find one of my cars dissappeared, and replaced by a Police cruiser. I don't know. I think they should do something about it.

The sames happened to me. It really sucks because i keep losing all my good cars!

How many vehicles do you tend to park in your space?

 

Personally I have never lost a vehicle that I have parked in any of my spaces. I did once notice one had been moved considerably out of place but even then because the majority was still within the yellow markings it stayed there. I do recommend parking them tight to the side walk as you can, leaving them out slightly does leave them vulnerable to traffic.

I did have a Turismo parked in the space, but when i drove past my safehouse a feltzer was there instead. Hope my Futo GT doesnt go.

I have found that a parking space can only handle 1 car and 1 bike, and so far after about 40+ hours the only car i lost was when i tried to park 2 cars and a bike in a space, and the original car plus bike were still there but the car i tried to add disappeared

Parking places can only store each 2 cars (2 vehicles) in there. If you add 1 more, you will lose that car you stored there first. Not very hard to figure out by yourself, is it?

I had the Infernus that Bernie gives you parked in the space outsude of Playboy X's Penthouse. I go somewhere, come back, and it is gone. It was my favorite car, now I cannot seem to find another. Sucks but ah well.

Unless you've already done it, Stevie asks you to get an Infernus. You can just take it, save it and another will appear in it's original location

theres only one way to get that yellow one. you can rarely find an infernus, but the yellow one was one of a kind

maybe they can make a parking space like the japanese have. you press a button and your car comes down from an elevator really cool actually. but its just a joke so dont take this reply serious

Yeah, I think this is part of the realism of the game. Leave a parked car for long enough and it will get stolen (or "borrowed" by the LCPD - has happened a couple times to me).

 

It would be nice to have at least one "safe" garage though, perhaps in one of the mansions in northern Alderney.

Why did they take out the garages? It was a fine system.

I know why all the cars disappear...its because when Niko gets out of the car he never locks so it gets stolen.

 

Seriously...yeah its a problem but its happened to me only once, had a polic car on my spot but disappeared.

When you park the car up, the car will only stay in the parking space if you hold / Y so Niko pulls up the handbrake and actually turns off the car. If he leaves the car running it would vanish.

I have played close to 50 hours and have all the safe houses. At each one I have 2 cars, which have never gone missing. I quite like teh way you wpark your cars. Everytime you go or come out of your safe house you see your cars sitting there all pretty n sh*t.

 

And you do know if you spawn cars from the cheat list they normally do not save, or if you spawn a second car, the previous one dissapears.

I noticed I lost the pink car that you drive around when kidnapping the Don's daughter or something

I have to agree, it can be annoying. I have only lost two ever...one due to a glitch and the other was apparently taken out due to a ped car being in the area and it decided to save the sedan instead of the infernius.

 

Luckly, I only had one mission done so I reverted back to get the infernius back...as it was far more important to me...lol.

 

 

As far as the glitch, well....I went to do a quick save and parked the car I had on the sidewalk in front of the door to the safehouse. Apparently, the game also considers the sidewalk area behind the yellow spot also a save spot too...cause it replaced the, again, infernius with the normal sultan I had. Again, mission progress lost.

 

A garage would help out a lot. Realism is nice, as long as it does not effect the fun of a game. The funny thing is that there are several 24 hour garages that could have been used in that way.

 

Oh well.

Never happened to me (cars I have in front of Bohan safehouse have been there for ages already), unless I tried to add a third car, then the first one in that space vanished.

They are completely inside parking spaces and engine is turned off.

 

Don't know why it is happening to you and other people.

Go do races. If you cal Brucie for a race, on your way over there chances are trafic will spawn vehicles that your oponents are driving, sometimes they will be driving cars like the Comet, SuperGT and Infernus.

This works best with the race on Star Junction.

When you get a wanted level near your safe house, sometimes your cars will disappear, because the cops take it lol. Happened to my bikes and Mafia car in Alderney.

what I do like is that you can go shopping or playing darts with a friend or go on a mission, and when you come out of the house the car is still there where you parked it

I hated that in SA, your car would dissapear whenever you went inside a building
